"Set up an OR! This girl has a long surgery ahead of her." One doctor said. Paramedics had called who they thought was her dad.

So now, Thatcher Grey, Susan Grey, Lexie Grey, and Liza Minick all sit in the waiting room.

Two of them have never met Meredith, one got her shot, and the other left her at such a young age.

He knew he was stupid and left her, but he thought she had Ellis. He thought that if he left, Ellis would realize she had to step up and take care of her child.

As they wheeled Meredith to the OR, she started to seize.

"Something happened to her brain, page the head of neuro!"

Yes, neuro had already checked on her, however, they were a different attending, not the best one the hospital had.

Meanwhile, over at the Shepherds household, Derek was sobbing.

He had gone over to Meredith's old house, only to find it empty.

"It's ok, sweetie. We will find her." Carolyn had her hand on his back, rubbing soft circles.

"No, mom. She's probably dead. Or almost dead. You don't just walk out saying your gonna kill yourself." He sobbed.

"What's going on?" Amelia asked. She just came back from a friends house and came through the door.

"Meredith. We can't find her." Nancy said.

"Very blunt." Derek snarled.

"Derek, I love her too. She is my sister. She asked what happened so I told."

"Maybe you talk too much." He barked.

"Maybe you need to shut up and stop fighting with me!"

"I'm not fighting!"

"Everyone shut up!" Christopher had his phone in his hand and an angry expression.

"Hello?......Yes, this is he..yes I'm on my way."

"Who was that, sweetie?" Carolyn asked.

"Hospital, huge trauma. If you find her, give me a call."

"Ok."

-
All kids were sitting around.
Alex, Izzie, Cristina, Alex, Jackson, April, Amelia, Mark, Derek, Nancy, Lizzie, and Kathleen.

Tears either brimmed their eyes or they were sobbing. No one had any idea where their best friend, their girlfriend, their sister, or their daughter was.

"She was hurt. She was hurting and we didn't help her." Alex sobbed.

"Honey, there isn't much we can, or could, do at the moment. Right now, we need to hope and pray the she is okay." Carolyn sighed.

"She was bad when she got shot. We all saw it. But we didn't do anything." Cristina added.

"You did. You did everything a 15 year old can do. Are you kids hungry?"

Some nodded some mumbled. She nodded and went to make something for them.

That's when the phone rang..

-
As Cristopher scrubbed in, he told his resident to get a portable CT and come down.

"What happened?"

"Kid got hit by a car at 54 mph." A resident of Dr. Richard Webber said.

"I know the girl, somewhat. I haven't seen her since she was as small as a rock."

"Who is she?"

"Meredith Grey."

Christopher's head shot up and he wanted to cry.

"M-Meredith?"

"Yes. Ellis' daughter."

"She is not her daughter."

"Scalpel, what do you mean?" He questioned while working in his former colleague's daughter.

"She is my daughter."

Richard looked up when realization dinged him.

"You can't be here." He warned.

"I'm not leaving." Christopher tied his mask on and stepped up.

"It's law."

"Yea, we aren't blood, legally, I can work on her."

"She is still your family, Shepherd."

"I am the best damn neuro-surgeon in the country. She needs to survive. Not just for me but for the entire damn world. She has a lot ahead of her."

"Ok, one tear and you are out."

Then, they got to work.
