What is a Parent?

So I wanted to elaborate about the backstory behind Heather's parents. Molliee Kasuga Samson and Zachary Samson. Just want to say this is not Aleheather and I apologize, I just have not been feeling my best lately so I'm sorry if this is not something you want also it is my work so I can do what I want.

No One's POV:

Molliee Kasuga was a beautiful and intelligent woman born in Tokyo, Japan. As a little girl Molliee was bullied for her weight which lowered her self esteem. It wasn't until Molliee was 11 she started to change her appearance not because anybody told her to she just felt it was the only solution. Her mother was her best friend. Sometimes the family moved from South Korea for a month from Japan where they lived until when she was 12 she moved to Canada from Japan where everything started to change.

She met new friends who were the start of Molliee changing. She turned meaner and started going on dates with boys (not anything sexual). And started to go to crazy parties. These new actions were very looked down uppon from her parents. Her mother disapproved everything she did and wore while her father stayed silent and glared his eyes at her.

But at age 15 she met Zachary Samson a nerdy 15 year old who didn't have the most strikingly handsome appearance. Molliee didn't even know he existed until the moment they met. Molliee didn't like him at first but Zachary was head over heels for Molliee and did everything to prove it until one day when the two were 16 it was the day of the big game for Boyd Fines High and Molliee had gotten sick with the flu and when she told her team they blamed her for letting there team considering she was one of the best cheerleaders on the team and in the school. Molliee watched the game at home because it was being live streamed until her mom came in her room and said she had a guest. It was Zachary. Molliee was confused as to why he was there but he said that he wanted to keep her company and take care of her because her parents were going on a date that night. Molliee just said ok and that night she started have feelings for Zachary and without thinking Molliee kissed Zachary which made him go wide eyed and kiss her back and from there they started dating.

Molliee turned nicer a little bit and made Zachary popular, she was practically perfect at everything but with her kids not so much. She was only 18 when she and Zachary had her first daughter in July of 1982 and only then she was being watched by her in laws sometimes because they HATED nannies. Soon after at only 21 she and Zachary had their next daughter in September of 1984. People thought her and Zachary weren't fit to be parents sometimes. Then at 24 her and Zachary got pregnant with another daughter in August 1988 and again the same routine with the nannies.

But around December 1988 Molliee started to feel pain and was bleeding a lot until one night it was so bad she had to go to the hospital where she found out she was pregnant but unfortunately had a blighted ovum (it's a real thing) which means the fertilized egg is in the uterus but never develops and is empty it is also known as anembryonic (no embryo) pregnancy so there is no life in the fertilized egg. At that moment Molliee didn't even know how to feel. Miscarriages scared her and she never thought that would happen to her which it was just no baby to begin with. Zachary just as upset when he heard the news and did everything he did to help Molliee.

Around late March 1989 though Molliee stared to feel pregnancy symptoms and took a test to find out she was pregnant and could assume she was far along. Her and Zachary were very happy with the news and in November of 1989 they gave birth to their 4th daughter Heather.

But having a rainbow baby didn't change anything they still continued to leave their kids with the with her in laws sometimes but still cared for them. After in September 1991 they had twins a girl and a boy. Then in March 1995 they had their last baby and it was a boy.

Molliee wasn't the ideal good mother and mostly put her kids first. Whenever Molliee's parents came over because they lived in Toronto they would be stuck with the kids while Molliee and Zachary went out on a date or had work. Molliee's mother had comforted her many times about her terrible irresponsible parenting and how she never raised her to be this kind of person especially to her children.

As Mrs. Kasuga Yang's hatred for her daughter grew but her love for her little granddaughter Heather grew stronger. Heather was always so exited to have her grandparents over because they lived in Toronto. They would spoil her which made Molliee jealous and she started to say that her parents were the reason Heather was a brat. She once said they were the reason Heather was fat. But Heather's mom heard what she said and realized she was the same way as a child.

Zachary didn't know how to comfort his kids but he did know how to give them money and gifts. He created a bond with all of them but mainly Heather.

Zachary and Molliee weren't exactly the best parents but they weren't horrible and NEVER neglectful.

It wasn't until Heather was 9 years old and the bullying she received from her peers was getting worse. Molliee told her if she watched what she ate she wouldn't be bullied as much. Heather would come home upset and angry and let that anger out on her parents. So her parents thought the best solution to the problem to try electroshock, which was not a good idea, (Idk much about electroshock therapy but if I look it up to the full extreme it's not good for my anxiety) a doctor said to try it and it could help her sad feelings but not so much making her a nice person, but also it was just a one time a trial with the machine on the lowest level possible and she was under full anesthesia.

When Molliee's parents found out about this they were furious. But after that Molliee's parents didn't talk to her and when they came to over, they just spent time with the kids and not really Molliee and Zachary.
