"Gally?"
"Y/n, don't!" Teresa grabs a hold of your forearm before you walk too far away from the rest of the group. "He's stung."
What?
Gally, standing across from you all. Afar, sniffles in tears, little whimpers of pain, and his body shaking. Holding himself back, holding in his tears.
Oh no. You don't have another serum.
His clothes are slightly torn like all of your own. His veins popping out through his neck. His eyes glossed over. His face screwed up, holding back from completely bursting into tears. One hand is blood and gutted, holding what seems to be a key.
The other. Is the gun from Xandra.
Butterfly effect...at its worst.
"Gally..?" You put your hands up in slight defense as he sniffles again, shaking ever so slightly. You don't know what he could do now that he's stung. Especially since he'll remember. And could he even remember being on the inside of the water tank?
No...no you don't want to think about that. The person who did that to him isn't you anymore.
"How'd he get in?"
"Maybe through one of the other areas." Minho whispers back to whoever had asked.
Gally breathes in deeply through his mouth, the hand holding the key allowing it to drop to the ground. Rattling and rolling across the metal platform.
"Gally." You stand cautiously away from him, knowing that the gun he's holding is similar to the other weapons those military people were holding. "Breathe, breathe for me, okay?"
He slowly shakes his head 'no', and you see his jaw is clenched, swallowing down his tears and whatever else the Changing is doing to him. "We can't leave."
