You huff, putting your hands on your knees. Your heart is beating in your throat, your stomach twisted with a stitch. Your legs aching from running too far, too hard.
You feel like you're gonna throw up.
What a morning for running, right?
"Woah, woah, woah. Easy there, Shank." You feel a hand placed on your back, and you cough out on the grass below you, raspy, ragged coughs that are beyond out of breath.
You weren't planning to run this hard. But when one of the boys saw you this morning. They judged you for your weight. Your appearance.
Which you hadn't expected to happen at all.
Judged you. Called you out on the running, that a body type your size needs it rather than wants it. And that you'd be dead meat if you were running for your life.
Because of your weight.
That's when you pushed yourself until you almost couldn't stop, and now? You feel sick.
"Easy there, Y/n." Minho's voice is slightly soothing for you as you recollect yourself, your breathing, and fighting off the urge of vomiting. He rubs your back up and down, your breath heavy and your head spinning.
"The hell were you thinking?" He steps in front of you, his eyes full of concern. "What, you're gonna puke your guts out? Run till your legs give out?"
"I had to run." You cough out, turning your head away from him. "The things he said-"
"Don't listen to him." Minho says, putting a hand on your shoulder. You stand up straight to face him, tears brimming in your eyes.
He lets out a sigh before pulling your body into his. Wrapping his arms around you in a safety hug. "Don't listen to him...you don't need to change your weight for anyone. You're perfectly fine the way you are."
