[Smut Warning 🥵]
"I swear, St. Barts sun just hits different than Miami sun." The two girls laid on the beach soaking up the afternoon rays after they had gotten wine (and chocolate) drunk while watching rom-coms on demand the night before.
"You know what?" Camila replied. "You're not wrong."
"Of course I'm not," the redhead scoffed. Camila giggled and looked over at her best friend only to have something, or rather someone, in the distance catch her eye instead.
"Oh my god...look at him," Camila swooned. Shelby turned around and laughed when she saw what had gotten Camila all hot and bothered. Shawn was standing under the falling water of one of the beach showers, washing the sand off of his skin.
"I mean, if you're going to make a move I'd say now is a pretty good time to do it. He's literally showering right in front of you. Sure, he's not naked...but that doesn't mean you can't join him!"
Camila contemplated her best friends words for a moment.
"You wouldn't be mad if I ditched you for him?"
"Girl, I don't think anybody could blame you for ditching me for him. I mean...look at him!"
"Trust me, I'm looking." She was watching quite closely, in fact, as he shook his hair under the water and ran his hands over his face. Beads of water rolled down his toned, muscular abdomen and chest and all Camila could think about was how badly she wanted to lick them off. "Take the rest of my stuff to the room?" she asked Shelby, grabbing only her phone and her room key as she stood up.
"Of course. Have fun!"
"I will," Camila winked. And just like that, she was quickly making her way to the shower stall. They hadn't talked since she ditched him in the middle of the night but she still hoped that he wouldn't hold that against her. She dropped her phone and room key right next to his in the sand before joining him under the water. "Mind if I rinse off too?"
Shawn turned around in surprise, his eyes roaming up and down her body, drinking in the sight of her in the tiniest black bikini he had ever seen.
"Were the other showers taken?"
"No, but they didn't have you in them." She mentally patted herself on the back for the quick recovery.
"I guess I assumed you wanted nothing to do with me after the other night."
"I feel really bad for sneaking off," she admitted as they switched places in the shower so the water could rinse the sand off of her skin. "It's just..."
"You don't have to explain," he interrupted. "You just got out of a serious relationship. A rebound hookup is one thing but sleeping next to someone is just...a different level of intimacy. I get it."
"It had nothing to do with you. Just me getting too much in my head."
"Don't worry about it — really."
"So what are you doing after this?" Camila asked. He looked over her again and shrugged.
"Probably going back to my room for a bit."
"Alone?"
"I don't know yet. Are you coming or not?" He asked. It was a cocky response but she loved it. She smirked up at him before biting her lip and nodding.
Not even fifteen minutes later she was laying on her back in his bed as he ripped her swimsuit away from her tan skin, tossing it aside somewhere in his suite.
"Did you turn your phone on silent this time?"
"Yes," she giggled in reply.
"Good. Your friend seems nice but I don't want you to be distracted during this."
