[we gettin spicy y'all]
Camila sat in her office trying to focus on the task at hand when she heard a knock at her door. She wasn't sure who it was but she knew they better make it quick — she had approximately seven minutes before she'd finally be done for the weekend.
"Come on in," she called out. The door unlatched and pushed open to reveal her boyfriend standing behind it with a bouquet of white roses in hand.
"Surprise!" he greeted sweetly. Camila squealed and stood up from her desk, scurrying over to him and hugging him tightly around the waist.
"What is this for?" She kissed him on the lips and took the roses from him, setting them down on her desk.
"Well, I have some good news."
"Oh yeah?" she grinned. He nodded.
"Mhm. It's a Friday. Jace is staying the night at a friend's house. Maggie is staying the night with my parents."
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" she smirked. Shawn leaned in, brushing his lips against the shell of her ear.
"I'm saying that there's absolutely nothing stopping me from keeping you up all night long."
"Mm...I like the sound of that." She relaxed against his chest, breathing in his scent.
"I like the sound of it too. Ready to go?"
"We're going right now?"
"Mhm. I'm taking you back to your apartment now to change and then we're leaving for dinner. Our reservation is at 6:30."
"Okay," she blushed. "Let me just log out and stuff." She scampered back to her computer, clicking a few buttons and hitting a few keys before picking up the flowers he had brought her in one hand and his hand in the other. "Let's go."
She didn't even care that her car would be left at the office. She adored the fact that he came to pick her up. Camila held his hand tightly in hers as he drove them both to her apartment.
"So how fancy is this dinner date?" she asked as she sat the roses down on her kitchen island. "What should I wear?"
"Mind if I pick?"
His question kind of caught her off guard, but again, it was sweet. She liked that he wanted to pick out her outfit for her. Knowing that he had a distinct vision of what he'd like to see her in made her heart beat a little faster.
"Go ahead," she replied with a nod. She followed him to her bedroom, waiting patiently on the bed as he sifted through her closet. Finally, he pulled out a white floral dress and handed it to her. Camila could've sworn he'd pick the sexy red silk mini dress that she had hanging up somewhere in there but something about the fact that he picked a more sweet and girly option was even cuter. She took the hanger from him and stood up, walking into her bathroom. "I'll be right back."
She came back out just a few moments later with the dress on, as well as her hair and makeup touched up.
