Hunter dragged me outside and all the way to his car. I finally get the chance to break free from his grip and massage my sore wrist.
"What are you doing get in the car." Hunter demands as I stand on the other side. I look around the parking lot, hoping to spot my brother. At this point I'm not sure why I'm still making excuses. I didn't have feelings for Hunter. No attraction what so ever. In fact I wanted to get away from him. But I know once I called it quits he'd still be around.
"Where's Reece?" I query.
"He already left."
I groan to myself but following my annoyance soon comes relief when I see my friends heading over.
"Sienna could you give me a ride home?" I ask her.
"Of course." She nods her head while looking over my shoulder at Hunter.
"No, Reece said—"
"Hunter can you stop acting like Reece's puppet for once?" Sienna scolds which shuts him up. "Romee is going to be fine."
He doesn't argue with Sienna, knowing it's impossible for him to win. I turn my attention to my friends so we can leave without saying another word to him.
Inside Sienna's car I toss my bag inside and sit in the passengers seat. Kendal takes the backseat but she doesn't mind.
"I can't go home." I blurt. "I need you to follow Hunter."
"Woah is this a stake out?" Sienna asks.
"Do you think he's cheating on you?" Kendal adds.
I close my lips and sit back imagining that night I caught him. "No I just know him and my brother are up to something and I need to figure out what it is."
"Okay I'm in." They both agree so we wait and watch for Hunters car. It pulls out of the parking lot so we start following him a few cars behind. Making it unlikely for him to spot us.
"Where do you think he's going?" Sienna turns to look at me.
"I have no idea." I don't recognize the area of town he's headed towards. He takes another turn. Down a dirt road with no signs of direction.
All of a sudden we're startled by the sound of thunder. A black Camaro lines up with Sienna's car and guns his engine to scare us again before speeding off.
"Who was that!"
"Look he's turning." I point out.
"Yeah he's turning into the road where that lunatic went."
"This is a drug deal it has to be." Kendal tells us. "We should turn around."
"We've made it this far." I sigh. "Come on."
Sienna nods and turns into the dirt road. My eyes are scanning every inch of this place but all I see are trees and nothing more. Then we see it, a field but it's not empty there are dozens of cars parked on both sides.
"I'm so confused." Sienna mumbles and I agree.
I recognize these cars because most of them were from school. A lot of them were also in that alleyway Flynn took me to.
Sienna parks her car and we take a moment to get out. A car sitting next to us has a couple of guys surrounding it. They were watching us like we were something to eat.
"Hey boys mind telling us what's happening here?" Sienna asks without hesitating.
One of them fixes his shirt and walks closer. "Now why would you show up to a place like this without knowing who you're dealing with?"
