3 hours before...
Parties, they were simple.
You go to get wasted and end up kissing the wrong person. It's so you can forget your complete existence on planet earth even if it's only for a second. Whatever excuse you use to help better the fact that you fucked up that night, choose wisely.
Parties weren't all fun and games, crimes were being committed. Underage drinking, illegal drugs and possibly... sexual assault. But nobody pays attention to any of that I mean why would they?
Parties, they were simple right?
"Do we look hot enough?" Kendal says holding up various tops to scan herself in the mirror with. "What if Reece finds out we're sneaking out?"
"Fuck Reece, he's a dick and I don't care what he says." Sienna groans. "We're going to that damn party tonight with Romee whether he likes it or not."
I laugh at my friends determination.
I assumed since it was a Monday night, that we'd be binge watching Teen Wolf. Instead we heard there would be a party so we decided to join in on the fun.
I look at my reflection in the mirror. Contemplating the look of my outfit. I'm wearing tight black jeans that rise just above my navel and a white crop top that shows off and inch of my midriff. I'm also wearing black heeled boots that make me at least two inches taller than I regularly am.
I haven't gone to a party in quite a while so I don't want to feel out of place when I arrive. With the exception of having my two best friends by my side I'm not nervous.
Sienna waves her phone around to tell us she finally has the address. We head outside to where Sienna's car is parked.
My brother had already left for the party a few hours ago which gave us plenty of time to get ready. I could only hope that I don't run into him tonight.
After fifteen minutes of driving down the same road we're convinced it's the wrong address. This part of town had tall trees which stood on both sides of the road. Making it impossible to see what was around us.
"What if this is a setup?" Kendal mentions.
"It's not a setup." Sienna laughs. "Parties are out here all the time."
"I agree with Ken." I say, this was sketchy.
Sienna finally pulls into a dirt road which continues for another mile. Once I see lights peaking through the trees, a house comes into view.
"Finally." I say. "We're here."
Sienna starts honking at the various drunk teens crowding parts of the entrance while I curiously look around to take in the scenery. She pulls in beside the other cars and we start getting out.
There's a lot of people at this party tonight so it makes me a bit anxious. The house is covered in vines and moss and it's actually quite large from the outside. I suppose it's easy to throw a party out here in the middle of nowhere?
We push passed a few people hanging in the doorway. I can feel the floor beneath our feet trembling from the bass of the music and the dancing teens. It reeks of alcohol and smoke which was the typical smell when it came to parties.
I plan on avoiding my brother tonight and Hunter or Dennis if that was possible. I know he won't hesitate to make a scene.
Red solo cups occupy our hands and the three of us down our first cup of mixed liquor. It taste as horrible as it sounds. After a few shots and a few beers I was well over buzzed. I wasn't much of a drinker so I couldn't keep my alcohol down as well as the others.
