The first week of the class was light. However, in the succeeding weeks, we experienced the challenges and felt pressure as college students.
In the third week of October, we were busy preparing for our midterm exam for the next week.
I have been in Reizo's penthouse since he asked me on a date. However, I refused since I needed to review for our upcoming exam.
I just told him that we can't meet, but he said he misses me, so he'll settle in his place with me rather than going out.
His penthouse makes it more relaxing to review. Its peaceful and minimalist interiors set the mood and made me concentrate more on my reviewers...
However, despite its calming and balanced view, the owner was beside me, and I can feel the stares he's giving me ever since I sat down here.
I heaved a sigh and looked back at him. He raised his brows, not embarrassed that I caught him monitoring my moves every now and then.
"Stop staring!" I hissed. I saw him grinned evilly. This guy!
I don't know what's gotten to Reizo that he chose this day to be a little playful. We never saw each other for two days since he went abroad for a business proposal with his cousin, Zavi.
"I am not." He responded while still looking directly into my eyes.
He still denies yet it's pronounced that he's intentionally trying to deflect me and get my attention away from my books.
"Stop it, Reizo." I frowned and went back to what I was doing a while ago.
I really tried to focus on my reviewers despited his intent stares he's giving me. Kaso, ang hirap hirap dahil sa lalaking katabi ko.
How can I resist not to be distracted by his gaze when I am used to it — him always looking at me regardless of whether or not I am doing anything.
He just likes to do it.
And in addition, he's Reizo Saavedra. Who in the world never gets distracted and mesmerized with that face, and more so, him looking at you. I mean, hello, no one!
I was busy reviewing my notes when I felt his hand on my thighs.
I looked at him, and he was just sitting comfortably while successfully sidetracked me. I scoffed and glared at him.
He noticed my stares and looked back at me. Wala talagang oras para mawalan ng kumpiyansa si Reizo sa sarili niya. He always look dominant and almighty. Well, his caliber and achievements makes him who he is.
"What?" He asked innocently. Wow, he really asked, knowing he's doing it intentionally.
"Your hand." Binaba ko ang tingin sa kamay niyang nakapahinga sa hita ko.
"On your lap, baby." He answered as a whisper in my ear. At nang lumayo, I caught him biting his lip, hiding the grin playing on his sinful lips.
I closed my eyes tightly. I huffed a breath not realizing na kanina ko pa pala pinipigilan 'yon.
An hour later, Reizo, who was getting busy with his laptop while I was reviewing, stood up. He left his laptop on the table and walked away.
"You need to take a break first, love." I lifted my head and saw him holding a tray of food. I saw the piece of choco mousse cake and smoothie for us.
"Later na." He sighed and placed the tray on the table, and sat beside me.
"Love!" I glanced at him immediately when he got my books and reviewers on my lap and placed them beside him, away from me.
