Chapter Eleven

11 - Upset

We went to Manila Golf Club. Reizo invited me to go with him. Kasama namin si Void, Dashiel at Aleskia.

Wala si Sebastian ngayon dahil may pinuntahan at si Thorne at Creia naman ay hindi makakapunta dahil busy si Creia sa school at si Thorne ay nasa ibang bansa kasama si Aisaak.

Aleskia and I were busy sitting on the golf cart while we were watching the guys.

"It's been a while since we saw each other. How are you?" Aleskia asked.

"Oo nga. I was busy with my academics. Tapos kayo naman sa trabaho." I stated. Natawa si Aleskia.

Katatapos lang din kasi ng prelim exam namin for the second semester kaya medyo magaan pa ngayon at pwede pa akong lumabas at weekend din naman ngayon.

"Yes! Work almost covered most of my days. Dashiel and I only see each other when we got home. Or sometimes, Dashiel pays me a visit at the company."

I know that Aleskia's family was also in the construction industry. And Dashiel and her were also living together in Dashiel's place.

"Good shot, bro!" Dashiel yelled at Reizo after having a perfect shot. He smirked at Dashiel before looking in my direction.

"I'll go with Dashiel." Paalam ni Aleskia at lumapit na sa boyfriend niya at kay Void.

Nakita ko na nalang na papalapit sa akin si Reizo.

"Come here, love." Reizo held my hand and helped me went out of the golf cart.

"What?" He gave me his golf club.

"It's your turn now, love." He replied. He held my hand and we went near his friends.

"Reizo, I don't know how to play it. I've never played golf before." Tinignan niya ako at inayos ang buhok ko bago kinuha ang panyo sa bulsa niya at pinunas sa pawis na namuo sa noo ko at leeg.

"You'll do it, baby. I'll teach you." He gave me a kiss on my cheek which made me pout.

"I might not make it. It will be a disaster!" Reklamo ko na mahina niyang tinawanan. Kita ko ang pang-aasar ni Dashiel sa amin nang marinig ang tawa ni Reizo.

"You know... I watched Reizo and Sebastian laughed only with their girls. I am just waiting for Void to bring his girl so that I can witness him laugh as well."

"Damn you." Malamig na sabi ni Void sa kanya na kinahalakhak ni Dashiel.

"Stop annoying them, Dashiel." Suway ni Aleskia sa kanya. Dashiel looked at him.

"Should I annoy you, then?" Biro ni Dashiel dahilan para suntukin siya ni Aleskia nang mahina sa braso.

Natatawa tuloy akong pinapanood sila. I glanced at the guy in front of me, with my smile because of the couple, and caught him intently staring at me with his slight smile on his lips and amusement in his eyes.

"Ready?" Naghihintay na tanong niya. He looks like he's too excited to teach me that's why I don't have the heart to refuse his offer.

Dahan-dahan akong tumango sa kanya. "Okay, love. Let's do this!"

I held the golf club and Reizo went behind me and grabbed my waist to support my hand and teach me the stance in hitting the ball.

"Ready, baby?" He whispered in my ear.

"Yes..." Mahina kong sagot. He touched my hands and hold them tight before guiding them to hit the ball.

Ilang ulit naming sinubukan ni Reizo 'yon hanggang sa tuloy-tuloy na nakuha ko na.
