I hide this feeling only because I know you don't feel the same and I can't let you go.

"Dude you gotta ace your game." Fahd chastened catching the ball in mid air.I groaned in dissatisfaction as he gave the ball a light bounce and sent it flying through the air.It went smoothly through the hoop and he threw it back at me forcefully.
"Damn that was good. "I thought looking up at him wearily. I could make better shots but my mind wasn't in practice today.

"If don't want to be benched in the next game you need to ace your game . Right now it sucks."
I looked up at him and smiled as the ball went smoothly through the hoop after hitting the target.

"That was nice ." I said throwing him his towel.Mine dangled over my neck.

I picked up my phone from the bench and swiped it open.
Messages came flooding in.

I replied Mum's message to be on time for dinner and answered the rest in order of priorities.

I didn't fail to notice how my home screen was flooded with messages from Jessica asking me how practice had been.
I had no option than to reply.
I picked up my duffel bag ,phone in hand as Fahd zipped his up and we progressed towards the car park.

"You looked tensed, you cool?" Fahd asked dumping his stuff in the backseat.
"Ugh! Camilla is driving me crazy, you know, with her whole outburst last week " I replied finally relieved it had been lifted of my chest.

"Well then come clean to her.Tell her you just kissed her because you wanted that effing assignment over with."Fahd suggested climbing into the passengers seat.

I bit my lip in frustration as my hands tightened on the steering wheel.

"It's not only that is it?" He pried.

"I want to break up with Jessica." I said quietly.

"You guys fighting?"

"No.I just don't feel anything when we touch."

"Well then what's holding you back?"

"I don't know but perhaps her clingy attitude."I sighed.

" That's messed up."He said as I pulled over at his place.

"See you later bro." He called out slamming my car door shut.

"Sure." I said driving off my mind preoccupied with my own thoughts.

"Jaaake!"Mike screamed throwing himself in my arms as soon as I opened the front door.
He smiled happily as I ruffled his hair.

" Can we watch a re run of Teen Titans Go?" Mike asked as I progressed upstairs.
"You go on and have a nice time,I'm really tired Pet." I explained.
"Um hm."He nodded uncertainly when he realised that I was at the top of the stairs already. My mind wasn't really in anything else.I felt really tensed and just wanted to lay down and relax.

School  wasn't any better the next day.My thoughts were a mumble, nonetheless I  sat at my usual table with my teammates listening to them  drone on about parties and engage in the like buffoonery eyeing anything in a skirt which passed by.

" Dude, you should have seen the way Audrey swayed her  hips to the sound.Soo sexy."Troy whistled recounting some party his brother hosted last night.

"That girls unstoppable when drunk. She's kissed me one time." another droned.
I wasn't really listening to their  conversation since I wasn't interested in senior girls.
My eyes remained glued to the entrance of the cafeteria waiting for someone to make an appearance.
The cute girl finally walked in laughing with her friends. She didn't look disturbed at all considering the fact that I spent most of my nights thinking about her.She wasn't even bothered about the rumors flying around that she had a fling with one of the most hottest boys in the school and that doomed misery considerably since I had a girlfriend .
Other girls would never have tried resisting my touch or ignoring me but she seemed to do that with unmeasurable ease.
I looked at her my eyes not once leaving her radiant face.
I felt someone tug at my sleeve but I was suddenly pissed to the brim that I didn't bother to see the perpetrator.
My eyes remained fixed on Chad as he said something to the group of girls making Camilla, especially giggle at his ways. I stared on wishing that my gaze could actually burn holes at the back of his neck.
He suddenly had the bright idea to bring his lips unusually close to her ear and  whisper something to her making her flash him a nice smile.
