"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?", Darius howeled at her.

May honestly couldn't answer that question herself.

"I HAVE THAT SAME QUESTION FOR YOU!", May yelped back. It was the only response she could think of at that exact moment.

Darius rolled his eyes. May was only glad to see that disgusting smirk wiped off of his sharply cut face.

"Not. Another. Word," Darius bluntly mumbled. He proceeded to massage his tan temples.

May huffed and went to the bed in the left corner.

"That's my bed," Darius corrected her.

"Not. Another. Word," May mocked him with a charming smirk that mirrored his that he had on only moments ago.

Darius's mouth slightly opened to create a shocked look on his face.

"Two can play at the game, 'love,' " May simply replied to his black hole that was his mouth.

Weeks had passed at a snails pace. Do you know that saying that goes 'time flies by when you're having fun?' That applied here. May was most certainly not having fun with constantly arguing with Darius and just waiting around for orders from Mr. Hak. Those were some of the most boring weeks of May's life. But they finally ended once they were given orders to get money from a bank for the crime family.

"Now, love. We are to get $250,000 from the bank down the road. The job pays $10,000. We are also supposed to kill and dispose of anyone in the way. I'll lead you around. Got it?", May hated how Darius talked down to her. She pulled on her black wool gloves.

"Got it," she replied through gritted teeth.

They started to put their plan into action. Or, Mr. Hak's plan. They traveled down the street by foot until they reached their destination. They started down an alleyway between the bank building and an old factory. They were about to push open the side door to the bank when May heard a familiar voice say her name.

She whipped her head around to see who the voice belonged to.

No other than Liam Pérez.

"May!", he repeated.

May paused.

"Why are you here?", she asked. She was in a Place of Confusion. Did he follow her? Was he just passing by and saw her? Was she hallucinating? Why was she faced with the tan boy at this moment?

"I was just walking my dog, Daisy," he said, presenting her with a dog leash. There was a German Shepherd at the end of it. "Now, what are you doing here?", he almost exhorted.

"I was just. . .", May trailed off. How could she explain being down the banks alleyway, dressed in all black, and a gun in hand?

Liam noticed the apparel.

"May Nurrie, were you robbing the bank?!", Liam put together.

Before May could respond to this, Darius pointed his gun at Liam, unarmed Liam.

Out of instinct, she pulled her gun on Darius.

It was quite a scene to see. Darius with his gun pointed at a defenseless Liam, and May with hers pointed at Darius.

Darius chuckled.

"You would never, goody-too-shoes."

"I would."

"He is in our way. Move."

There was a deafening silence between the three before Liam finally spoke up.

"Listen, I can just leave and forget about this."

"Why should I believe that you won't tell authorities?", Darius asked with the stupid smirk-voice. God, May hated it.

"You'll just have to take my word for it.", Liam maturely replied. "And if I can't convince you, let May do so."

Darius looked at May.

"It's true, let him go.", May ordered.

Darius chuckled.

"It will never be all that easy, sweetheart.", he proceeded to get Liam into a headlock and have the gun at his head.

"Don't do it, Darius. Please.", May was making a poor attempt to not break down. High-pitched whimpers were escaping her pale lips, leaving her in a vulnerable state. She still dearly cared for Liam. May still had her gun pointed at Darius's head, threatening to shoot.

"You won't do-"

He was cut off by the sounding of May's gun and the welcoming of a cold, cold death.
