Chapter 2 Jay

"The boy is on his way..."

"He's coming then?"

"Yeah be here soon..." my beautiful girlfriend smiled like she does, I couldn't be the most luckiest person. Having some amazing friends right here with me and this beautiful girl friend who I know I'm punching above my weight and I can be a be a idiot to at times. Sliding next to her plonked a kiss on her cheek as she finished her phone call.

"That was Alex.." her eyes lit up

"She okay?"quizzingly asked

"Yeah yeah.. she's joining us. Eekk" she couldn't contain her excitement as she grinned boldly at me. Her blue eyes sparkling at me.

"Be nice to see her...She still with that bloke of hers?"

"Think so... can't wait to see her."

Time ticked by & the pub got busier, louder, people seemed to merge into each other. Noticing the lad were playing pool he decided to join in

"dude your such a loser... let me show you how it's done" grabbing the pool cue I joined the boys. Laughing with them I noticed Alex was here.

"Alex is here..... Alex sweetheart alright?" he strolled over to her

"Jay... alright.." she hugged him tight

"Yeah great.." embracing her back

"Been too long... not changed I see"

"Not engaged yet I see... my best friend still has no ring huh?" Her tone was playful as she tapped her ring finger

"One day aye baby?" Pointing over to her then went back to play pool.. Luke started to act the idiot when his eyes must be telling lies with what I can see..

"Ill... Ill be back.." Trying to skip around the group's of people I rolled up my shirtsleeves and adjusted my wasitcoat.

Squeezing  by people while trying to get to the door.. stopping on the pathway all the cars lined up being a Friday night side by side & there she was standing by her sports car. Pulling out suitcases.. I know it's her for sure.. got to be my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. It's her the number plate for sure I'm certain it is, I remember when he brought it for her... hearing her talking and hugging another man and kissing him before heading off up the street. She didn't know I saw but she clearly don't care who saw her either.. anger starting to boil for some choice words to come out of my mouth will not be pleasant.
