Our happiness had quickly faded, the next day Happy was put in the hospital...we weren't sure if he was gonna wake up. While Tony visited him in the hospital, he told everyone on TV our address, including a new threat called the Mandarin. Challenging him to come visit.

I pack two bags for us, knowing the threat was gonna come to us if we didn't leave. I walk over to the edge of the balcony after hearing the doorbell, dropping both bags down.

"Tony? Is somebody there?" I ask.

"Yeah, it's Maya Hansen.Old botanist pal that I used to know, barely."

I continue buttoning up my shirt as I walk downstairs to see a woman standing behind Tony. "I'm sorry, with Happy in the hospital, I didn't know we were expecting guests." I smile.

"We weren't."

"And old girlfriends." I sigh.

"She's not, really."

"No, not really." Maya shakes her head.

"It was just one night." Tony nods.

"Yep."

"That's how you did it, isn't it?" I ask.

"It was a great night."

"Well, you know....You saved yourself a world of pain." I smile.

Tony turns towards me. "What?"

"I'm sure."

"Trust me." I nod at Maya. "We're going out of town."

"Okay. We've been through this. Nope."

"Yep!" I raise my voice.

"The man says no."

"Immediately and indefinitely." I nod.

"Honey..."

"Great idea. Let's go." Maya says as she leans down to grab our bags.

"I'm sorry, that's a terrible idea. Please don't touch her bags." Tony points.

"This is how normal people behave." I shake my head.

"I can't protect you out there."

"I told you, I don't need you protecting me. I'm a trained Assassin for gods sake!" I yell.

"Is... ls that normal?" Maya points to the huge stuffed rabbit.

"Sadly, that is very normal." I nod.

"Yes, this is normal! It's a big bunny. Relax about it!" Tony yells.

"Calm down." I shake my head.

"I got this for you!"

"I'm aware of that." I roll my eyes.

"You still haven't even told me you liked it."

"I don't like it." I shake my head.

"I asked you three...You don't like it?"

"We are leaving the house." I point to the door.

"Guys?"

"That's not even up for discussion." Tony shakes his head.

"Can we..."

"I said no." Tony says.

"Guys!"

"What?" Tony and I both yell.

"Do we need to worry about that?" She points to an incoming missile approaching our house.

Suddenly the missile hits, throwing us back. Before I hit the ground, Tony's armor attaches to me and helps me not hit the ground so hard.
