Lisa

I went out at jennie's office and look at my watch. Its already 7PM. Goodluck if i arrived at our meeting place on time.

I took my phone out of my pocket and called jisoo. Of course, my crazy best friend acted sulking but in the end, I convinced her that my excuse was really important. She just made me promised that I bring my boss on there next gig. Is she okay? How can i invite my gorgeous boss? We're not even close yet.

We ended the call. I'll admit, sometimes. I am an opportunist. And this... This opportunity? I'm stupid if I let it go. 😏

Twenty minutes later.

I knocked at the door of jennie's office before i opened it. We were both shocked because she was not at her desk, she was sitting on her sofa, she was holding a tablet and obviously, she was not working.

"Lisa." She suddenly stood up. She also hurriedly put her foot on one of her sexy shoes that she had already taken off. I grinned, finding it adorable.

"What are you doing here? I thought you came home!" She asked still shocked. I lifted the take out bag from the restaurant that nearest at our building. It's not Mcdonald anymore. Since it's payday, I have money.

"You said you will go home at 10, I bought dinner. Let's eat together?" I said smiling. She just looked at me, "But.. I thought you have plan with your friends."

I shrugged. "I already called them that I could no longer go. It's already late. I can't be there it at 8PM."

I approached the sofa, sat down and removed one by one the take out containers from the paperbag. I looked up at her. She's still looking at me, she still can't believe that i am here and doing whatever i'm doing. I smiled.

" Don't worry, ma'am. I'm still aware that you're still my boss." "It's just dinner. It doesn't mean anything." I continue... Unless you want it to...

I smiled at her, an innocent smile.
See, I'm harmless. You can trust me.

Then, i stopped myself not to dance because of happiness when she removed again her shoes and sat down beside me. "Alright."

I managed to smile calmly as I handed her a container of roast beef even though my heart was shaking.

Progress, Lisa. It was progress. Be very careful.

"So what is Lisa short for?" Jennie asked while we are eating. "LALISA." I answered her smiling. She sipped at her drink. "I know your siblings. We are not close but we meet at social functions."

I shrugged before I munched some chicken. "You would. You have the same world." She glanced at me. "Why? Aren't you part of that world?" She asked.

"Me?" I laughed. "Do you see me in a boardroom and being intimidated by stubborn businessmen?" Jennie shrugged while having a small smile on her lips. "Why not?"

I shook my head. "Our family business will collapse, If ever i become a CEO ahahaha. I'm not like you guys, business tycoons." I just laughed.

"You're too much." She said smiling. "Trust me, I think the recessive gene of being business minded went to me." Jennie ate roast beef again. "What do you do, then?" she asked. "I am the proud Black sheep family member of Manoban." I said laughing.

She studied me, looking at me intently. "Is that what they're telling you?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "What do you mean?" I'm confused. "Is that what they're telling you or that really who you are? I thought deeply.
My forehead furrowed. She smiled and put and put another bite of beef into her mouth.
