Chapter 10

Lisa

"What if I can't?" Jennie joked. "What if my body got shutdown if I ordered a wrong coffee." She said.
"Don't worry, I got you." I winked at her and she slap my arm.

"Do you have a sibling?" I'm asking Jennie while we're enjoying our coffee.
"I have a older sister." She sipped at her coffee and I saw how her face cringed. She ordered CARAMEL MACCHIATO instead of the usual latte she always order.

"It's bitter!" She said while glaring at me and I find it cute.
"You have to stir it," I told her. "I just like the caramel." She said this time pouting her lips.
"Where's your unnie?" I asked her.
"Irene unnie? She's in state."
"She's not a businesswoman?" I asked her.

"Nope, She's a scientist." Jennie stir her coffee while answering me.
"What kind?" I asked again.

"She's a physicist and a chemical engineer! And she graduated from MIT. She's currently working at a research lab in California." She said proudly.

"You're proud of her." I said not a question, because it's obvious that she's proud of her sister.

"Yeah. I am. Super. She's our equivalent of black sheep." Jennie said laughing.
"She's the only one in our family that didn't become a businessman /woman. But we are all proud of her, she's a genius, literally!"

"You are also... Your a genius Jennie." I told her, I can't stop myself admiring her.

"Me? No! I'm just an average." This time I'm the one who laughed.

"You're an Executive Vice President of one of the biggest companies here in korea at the age of 25. I think you are also qualified to be called genius." She rolled her eyes.

"A company that my family owns." She said.

"But you went to WHARTON," I reminded her. "And you graduated summa cum laude. Isn't that enough to call you genius? Just by setting here next to you, I feel like I'm genius."

"Silly." she said laughing.
"And how did you know that I graduated at wharton?" she asking me confused.

"Company website." I told her. She sipped again at her drink.

"It's still bitter." She pouted and i got distracted for a moment because I want to kiss her.

"Hey, Lisa!" She called.
"Huh?" I asked while averting my eyes away from her lips.

"I said what time you will go home? You... You have tiny attention span. " She said looking at me suspiciously.

"I think I have a ADHD, And I will go home of you want to go home already." I really didn't want to go home already. She glanced at her watch.

"It's already 11PM." She said looking at me.
"You want to go home already?" I asked.
"My daddy's driver will go home after his shift." I hide my dissapointment.

"Oh, okay." Is all i can say.
"Don't bother your driver to fetch you, I'll drive you home." This time it's my smile i hide. She will find me weird or she will freak out if i abruptly stand up and make a fistbump in the air.

"Isn't it too much?" I said shyly.
"No, Its okay, Where do you live anyway?" She asked and I saw a tiny blush on her face or i'm just delusional.

"xxxxxxxx, I lived at my brother right now."
"Okay, I'll call oppah GD now." She said while typing at her phone.

After 30 minutes, her driver arrived. I opened the car door for her, before i got inside.

"Oppah, can we drive home Lisa first. What is your address, Lisa?" I told oppah GD my address and he start to drive.

"Lisa, you can come at the office at 10AM on monday," She told me while we are on our way home.
"We don't have schedule meeting that day, right?" She's looking at me.

"You just have 11:30AM." I remind her. Jennie just nod.
"Then, that's also the time i'll go in the office. And you are OTY to the max now." She said smiling.

"OTY?" I asked. She grinned.
"OVERTIME THANK YOU." She wink at me.
"Ahhh!" I said laughing.

We arrived at the building where the condo of oppah kai. Oh god! I don't want to get out of the car but i have to. I faced Jennie.

"Thank you for the ride." I said.
"And thank you for the dinner, the coffee and for the chitchat," She said, smiling.
"I just realize that yeah I needed someone to talk to, and you're the perfect person to talk to." I smiled at what she said.

"Actually, I am perfect in everyway." She laughed again.
"Okay, Okay if you said so." We just stared at each other, smiling at each other. I don't know what she's thinking, but me i really don't want to get out of the car. But... Oppah GD looking at us in the rear view mirror and he look like a ex military.

"I'll see you at work on monday," I said to my boss.
"Yeah, see you." Then, she did the one thing I wanted to do but couldn't (because i don't want her to think of me as a pervert). She leaned over and kissed me on the cheek.

"Thanks again, Lisa." She said after she kissed me.
"I didn't even know I needed what you did for me earlier. I really appreciate it." She said shyly.
"You're welcome, Goodnight." I just said.
"Goodnight." She reply smiling.

"Oppah... Thank you too." I said to her driver. He just nod. I got out of the car and I stumbled because I feel like I am in a cloud nine. I waved at closed the door and I watch the car fade away. I jumped and fistbump in the air.

This day is so epic! And for the first time, I can say that I love my boss... I mean my job. And for the first time again, I can say that I am really happy.
