CHAPTER 26

Lisa

I make myself busy on wednesday. I have a secret project on jennie. Well, i said it's on jennie but i have a ulterior motive, of course! 😉

We just take our lunch at our pantry. She was so curious why i am so busy these whole day but I didn't tell her why. We are just quits because until now she didn't tell me what's inside of the magic paper bag yesterday.

I already finished my work before 5pm, and we went out already.
We will go to her friends so that they will meet me personally.

The condo of her 2 friends is near. They are 5 besties since elementary.

One of them is at new york and according to jennie, she work at world bank. The 2 of her friends are working at Deutsche Bank here in seoul. And the other 1 is currently a paralegal while in a law school.

Cool, right? Even her friends are high class. If i was not confident, i'll get intimidated.

I parked my car at the condo building.

The truth is i am so nervous. I know now how jennie felt when I introduced her at my friends.

When she knock on the door i breath heavily. The opened and a beautiful lady like the aura of jennie greeted us happily.

She hugged jennie before she open the door widely so that we can enter.

"You must be Lisa," she greeted and also kissed my cheek.

"I'm somi. Rosè! Tae!, jennie and lisa are already here!" Somi said and called the others.

There are 1 woman and 1 man that hugged at kissed my jennie. And when they let go of her, jennie reached for my arm to introduce me to them.

Maybe I am look like a shock penguin standing at there living room while holding a box of cheesecake. Especially when i felt the stare of jennie's friends.

"You are more pretty handsome in person," rosè said to me.

"Ah, thank you?" I don't really know what will I answer.

Tae laughed and reached the box of cheesecake that I am holding.

"We are sorry, we googled you when jennie first told us about you."

I looked at my girlfriend that smirking at me.

"Sorry, I complained to them before about you." Jennie blushed.

"You know, the time that you haven't learned to use an avaya." She continue and I just laughed.

"We just googled you when she said that you are pretty handsome," Rosè said followed by jennie's whined and laughed of the 3.

"You bitches go to the kitchen!" Somi said.
"Maybe Lisa will be traumatize for us, she will not come back again. Lisa, why don't you sit down first. At the terrace if you want. Do you want anything to drink?" Somi offered.

"Ah, no. Thank you. I'm okay, maybe later at the dinner." I said.

"Sure!" Irene said.
"Can I borrow jennie, I just want her to check our dish so that our dinner is delicious." Somi continues.

Don't leave me!
"Of course," i said instead.

I know they only want to interrogate my jennie. Just I don't want to leave alone with rosè, I'm getting nervous with her.

Mr. Kim didn't asked me how can I give jennie a good life, but these rosè, I feel that she will asked for police clearance and a copy of my  ITR before she give me her blessing to become jennie's boyfriend.
