Chapter 11

Lisa

Next morning

Kai almost jumped when he saw me at the kitchen, eating my breakfast. Who wouldn't be, it's saturday, no work, and it's freaking 6:30 in the morning. He's not used to it, i mean he knows that i am not a morning person.

"Oh god!" Kai said.
"What the fuck, Lisa. When did you wake up early in the morning? And it's 6:30 fucking AM."

"Ahm... This week? You know, I am already working." I said while munching my cornflakes .

"It's saturday morning!" His one hand still in his chest.

I just shake my head and continue eating my cornflakes. Isn't it unbelievable that sometimes  I am conscious on Saturday morning?

"Wait! Did you just arrived, that's why you are here early in the morning?" Kai asked.

"Noooo," I said. "I came home earlier than you last night, And I didn't go with the gang last night." I said to him, he felt relief. He get a bowl and spoon, then sat in front of me.

"Well, you can't blame me." He reached the carton of cornflakes.
"I only see you early in the morning when you're just arrived, and... drunk."

"Okay fine, that's what I am before. But now, I am energized." I said. He put some cornflakes on his bowl.

"Jennie said you know each other?" I simply said.
"Casually." He said putting some milk on her cornflakes

"What do you think of her?" I asked again. I'm curious, you know.
"Brilliant, Pretty, Pleasant." He simply said.
"Like, you?" I asked again.

"Yeah, I am also brilliant, pleasant and pretty." He said and we laughed. We continue our breakfast. But I asked him something i really want to know.

"Soooo, you've never been interested in her?" That's when he lifted his head at me.
"What's going on?" He asked me and I sit properly.

"Nothing!" I said not looking at him
"Spit it out, Lisa." He said still looking at me curiously
"The cornflakes?" I'm changing the topic.
"Lisa." I don't wanna answer him that why I munched slowly my cornflakes, but kai still looking at me waiting for my answer.

"I was thinking, I want to be friends with her." I told him
"Don't hit on Jennie, Lisa." He warned me while pointing the spoon at me.

"But, what if, she's the one hitting on me?" I said grinning.
"I will hit you with my car." My brother warned me again.

"Lisa, I know you are not used at office dynamics but this woman is a decent person. You can't play your games with her." He said like pleading.

"Ouch! It hurts." The truth is even though I said it jokingly. I got hurt a little. I can't blame oppah kai when he said that. According to him, he know me very well and he does.

I don't wanna say I'm a player but.... Yeah... Slight. But I wasn't that big of an asshole to play games with women who didn't know tje game. And I freaking know that I am not playing with Jennie.

"Just... Dont. Don't do it. Don't try it. Don't even think about it." He warned me again and I just nod but seems like, he's not convinced. Yep, he knows me very well. He heaved a sigh and then eat again.

Kai went out to jog, I didn't go with him. I don't like jogging. I'll just run if someone is chasing me.
