Chapter 17

Lisa

On Friday 4:30 pm my phone rang, the readout says it's Jennie, i smiled at the phone. I feel pity for my boss, she so stressed this week, it started when she have to cancel our date on Saturday because she has a emergency meeting. From that moment she always has a bad temper and irritated.

"Ma'am?" i said when i answered the phone.
"Lisa, have you accessed the F drive?" she asked in a harrassed tone.

I clicked at my computer and access the server.
I got dizzy of the cursor, i can't log in at F drive.

"No, ma'am. But, i promise, i didn't erase it." i told her and she just laugh at me.

We already did what we have to do but it's useless. When i heared that she's about to cry, i hurriedly went to her office.

When i got in, jennie is sitting at her desk, her face is red, biting her buttom lip and obviously nearly cry.

On ordinary days, she handled clients from at least 7 different countries, at least 200 local employees, 1 asshole best friend and 1 slightly clueless, albeit pretty handsome and charming, personal assistant (that's me, if you still didn't know.), and made it look easy.

I slowly closed the door behind me, and she stood up. We walk to each other, my arms opening, her shoulders dropping. Then i had her in my arms and she had her arms around my waist, her face pressed against my chest.

"I'm sorry," she said in a small voice.
"I am just really tired." she continued.

"It's okay. I was amazed you just got tired. While me, I'm already tired just watching you." she didn't answer but she didn't also let go of her hug. It's okay. Even you want to hug me forever.

After awhile, I kissed the top of her head and she let me go. I held her hand and guide her at her sofa.

"Sit down first." i told her and she obeyed. I went to her desk and make a call. I called the IT department and talk to bobby. When i'm done i went back at jennie i watched her. I saw tiredness in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm supposed to be the one who do that." she said look so tired.

"Don't worry about it. You can't be supergirl all the time." i told her. She smiled up to me.

"Thanks. I feel so embarrassed. You saw how i get nervous breakdown." she said shyly and i sat beside her.

"Is that your nervous breakdown? You should see my unnie's nervous breakdown. You will see a flying office supplies when she was the one got nervous breakdown." i told her while acting what i am saying. Jennie laugh so hard and give me her gummy smile.

"I told bobby that we just have to eat outside." i offered my hand to her.
"C'mon, so you can refresh your mind." i told her.

She looked at my hand, then looked up at me. Then she placed her palm over mine.

I immediately ordered fries (cheese flavor because she don't like spicy) because she told me that that's her comfort food. I also ordered other meal.

"Lisa?" she called me while munching her fries.
"After 6 months, you'll leave the company?" she asked, and i munch my food slowly.

I planned to transfer to other department when nayeon is back, but still in KIM like my uncle, he is near at her loved ones. But i don't know how to explain at jennie.
