MAIN STORY CONTINUES:

I wake up and check my channel.
1view, 1 like, 1 subscriber. All from Cody.

To be honest, I wasn't even sure what I was expecting... thousands of subscribers like an overnight sensation or something?
Nah, I'd never gotten my hopes high in the first place.

I get ready for school and meet Cody, Sarah and Kate.
"Hey guys" I say.
"Hi.... what happened? Someone looks grumpy today..." Kate says
I roll my eyes and laugh at her attempt to sound childish.
"Na, it's just my parents you know? It's just so frustrating they won't let me do soccer anymore! And..and it's not like I can still keep playing secretly."
"Why not?" Sarah cuts in.
"Why not, what?" I ask.
"Why can't you keep playing secretly?"
"Because.. because Mark is on the team and he'll tell my parents, plus my parents are gonna check with the cheerleading teacher regularly to find out whether or not I'm attending her classes..." I say.
"Well I guess that could be a problem.." Kate mutters
"But can't you just tell Mark that your parents allowed you now? And we can work something out with the cheerleading teacher... I've heard she's really kind...." Sarah says.
I shrug "we can give it a try"
"Great! Me and you will head over there after school, k? Sarah says
"Sure" I say with a smile.

"Hey guys take a look at this" Cody says.
We go over to him and look at his phone. Turns out, he was showing my video.
"I just found this video, and I mean, just hear her voice! It's absolutely amazing!" He says.
I give him a look, and he smirks back. He plays the video. Thankfully, he pauses it just before my little 'speech' if you can call it that.
"Wow her voice is amazing!" Sarah says, "but, why does it sound familiar..?"
My eyes widen.
"Hm, I dunno" Cody says nonchalantly, "but it's awesome right!"
Kate nods her head, "it really is. Wait, what's the channel name?" She says while taking out her phone.
"Singing my Way" Cody says. It takes a little while for her to find it but she does.
"Wait..she just has one subscriber? And hardly any views?" Kate asks.
"Well, I think she posted her first video just yesterday" Cody says.
"Ah.. well, there, now she's got another subscriber" Kate says.
I take out my phone while Sarah does the same. Sarah clicks the subscribe button.
"There, now she has 3 subscribers...What happened Ava? You've been awfully quiet.." Sarah says.
"Oh it's nothing....there, I've subscribed too." I say, subscribing my own channel with my other email. Ironic right?
The bell rings, " okay guys see ya! Show the video to more people if possible!" Cody says.
"Sure! See ya at lunch!" Kate says.
We all go to our respective classes, Kate and Sarah going together.

Somehow I get through the day. We meet at lunch again by the time I have 3 more subscribers.
"The Video's spreading through school like a wildfire" Cody whispers to me. "I showed it to a couple of my friends and Justin who in turn showed it to his friends and so on. It won't be long before the entire school knows"
"Wow, I totally didn't expect that Cody..... thank you, really....... it means a lot" I say gratefully. He starts to say something but is cut off by Kate and Sarah arriving.
We eat lunch and talk about meeting up after school.
"Let's meet up at my house after me and Ava talk to the cheerleading teacher." Sarah says.
We all agree.

The bell rings and we go back to our classes. Till the end of the day, many people are talking about the anonymous singer on YouTube.
I smile to myself still shocked, and go to Sarah. "Are you sure you want to go?" I ask her.
"Yup let's go" She says, and we make way to the basketball court where cheerleading takes place..
I cross my fingers hoping we'll come with a solution....
