Their reaction is totally not what I was expecting. They looked kind of surprised but not as surprised as I thought they would be. They stand up.
"We had our suspicions.....we just didn't they'd be dead on!" Sarah says and comes to give me a hug.
Kate looks at me slyly. "I really can't believe you would hide this from us for so long." She says and gets up to hug me as well. I stand there with my eyes wide and look at Cody.
They knew?? I ask with my eyes. He just grins and shrugs as if to say I mean, they are your best friends...
I finally gain my senses back and hug them back. "Wait, so you guys already knew and never even told me?!" I say, untangling myself.
"We weren't sure! And it's not like you told us either." They say accusingly.
I look down. "Yeah....sorry about that...I just...I'm not even sure why I didn't tell you guys.. I just never told anyone I could sing and at first I was just insecure and scared and- " I'm cut off by Cody clearing his throat.

"What am I? The wall?" He says raising his eyebrows. Sarah and Kate notice him for what seems the first time.

"Wait, why aren't you even the least bit surprised Cody?" Kate asks with her hands on her hips. His eyes go wide and he scratches his neck the way he does when he's nervous.
"Um, I already knew?" he says uncertainly. They all stare at me, with Sarah and Kate more like glaring.

"Well........." I begin, "He sorta caught me singing on my own because the window to my room was open and he being the idiot he is, was trying to get in climbing the tree, so he said I should sing though I didn't want to, but he opened up a channel for me and played his guitar, which he plays very good by the way, and we started recording every Friday, I used to- " I'm cut off again though this time with Cody's hand on my mouth.
I turn to look at him and he looks amused.
"You were rambling" he says trying to suppress his grin.
I give him an 'oops?'  look and shrug.

Sarah and Kate give both of us a sly smile.
"Did something happen between you two?

I look at Cody. He removes his hand from my mouth. He's suppressing a smile. Again. That a- ahem.
"We kinda.....got..together?" I say, more like question actually.
Suddenly all I can hear are squeals. Sarah and Kate are jumping up and down like lunatics screaming something about how Cova has sailed?
Cody stands there blushing. I look around curiously.
"Could someone please tell me what the heck is going on here?" I say raising my hand.

"Those two knew I liked you from the beginning..." Cody says to me looking at those two like they'd come back after defeating the Minotaur.
"Did you kiss? Did you kiss? Did you kiss? Ahhhh" Kate asks unable to keep her excitement contained. She looked like she'd seen a flat 50% off discount in her favorite store. I smiled because I always loved this side of her. When she wasn't playing her video games she was going on and on about how we should always be fashionable. She took us shopping no matter how much Sarah groaned. I on the other hand sort of just went along with it.

In response I turn to Cody and kiss him.
He's shocked at first but comes closer. I smile into the kiss and after what seems like hours, though probably it was just 2 seconds I break off.
"Was that enough for you?" I ask the two of them. This two looked at us with wide eyes.

"I'm so glad for you guys!" Sarah says crushing us in a hug. The close contact between me and Cody causes me to blush.
"I want in on this too!" Kate says wrapping her hands around us. Soon we all start moving too much which causes heads to bump into each other, a lot of groaning and eventually breaking apart.
