"Won't you come into the garden? I would like my roses to see you."

Green: dark green, light green, lime green, forest green, spring green...so many different shades of green, freckled with a radiant palette of colours. Yellow Narcissus, white Zantedeschia, light pink Daisy gerbera, pale purple Campanula, blue Myosotis...

"Why do I feel like she is speaking in a different language?" Mix whispered to Earth, five minutes into their excursion through a botanical garden.

"Well, she is. It's Latin," Earth chuckled.

...This species of Tulipa was brought to Thailand from the Netherlands at the beginning of the 18th century by an unknown merchant. Since then, they have been the pride of this garden.

"Why she can't just say Lily, Daffodil, Forget-me-not?"

"Because this is a botanical garden, they don't call things here by their ordinary names." Earth ruffled Mix's hair and pulled him aside from the small, approximately twelve-people crowd.

"Wait, we...we have to follow them," Mix was looking at the moving crowd, trying to pull Earth back to join everyone, but it was to no avail. Earth didn't move an inch.

"We don't need to. Let's have our own private excursion."

"We can?" Mix's eyes glowed.

Earth nodded, "yup."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes—it's not my first time here. So shall we?" Earth asked, pulling Mix in the opposite direction from the crowd.

Mix was following behind Earth with small steps, eyeing him up and down.

"Hey, don't look at me like that, baby. I am a secret agent. Do you really think I would be breaking rules?" Earth raised his eyebrow.

"You are dating a boss of an illegal racing gang...so yeah, I do think you'll be the one breaking the rules."

"Says the boss in question." Said Earth, making them both laugh. "No, but for real, we are completely free to roam around without a guide. So go on, my love, run anywhere you want to," Earth said, arms wide open, making a 360° spin.

"You have officially lost your mind," Mix laughed, elbowing Earth, before running to the section with many types of different roses he had never even seen before.

Earth was watching him with a fond expression. The vivid memory of crying, shaking Mix from not even two hours ago felt only like a bad dream now.

We'll catch Jack as soon as possible. And after that, there be nothing but a smile on your beautiful face. I promise you that, Mix. I promise you that.
