Honestly, Mix expected the garage to look a lot worse. It didn't look good by any means, but considering that it was visited by Kit's men it still looked like it will be fairly easy to restore. The cars, however, that was a completely different story. Bright was right. Half of the cars were done for.

"I think we can get these cars scrapped," Mix sighed, "right next to Kit's one."

"They must have cost a fortune," Earth said as he was inspecting the burned wreck of what used to be a snowy white Lamborghini Huracán.

"Yeah, but most of these cars are from Midnight Race, so it's a waste of Jack's money, not mine." Mix shrugged, walking towards the burned Lamborghini and putting his hand on the now cold roof of the wreck that at some point yesterday was scorching hot. "But this one, I have purchased myself, this January." Mix shook his head in disappointment, "it was a good car."

Earth smiled, "you can always buy a new one, can't you?"

Mix's face lightened up in realization, "Yes, yes I can! Let's get this done quickly, so I can do some research on the internet."

Earth only shook his head, mumbled for himself, "rich people," and focused back on the crime scene. He found the same pieces of broken beer bottles and even one piece of cloth that miraculously didn't burn, confirming that Bright's assumption was indeed right. There was a Molotov cocktail in play.

"Do you have a car of your dreams?" Earth was pulled out of his concentration by Mix's voice coming right from behind him.

Oh, no. No way! Not gonna happen!

"Mix, you are not buying me a car!"

Mix was for a second contemplating to pretend that that was not why he was asking but then just said, "why not?"

Earth stood up from the squatting position he was in while he was looking for clues on the floor. He went and leaned with his back on the wall and crossed his hands on his chest, looking straight at Mix. "You already gave me a car, plus I have my own."

"But that doesn't count. The one I gave you is for racing." Mix pouted.

"And I have my own car," Earth repeated.

Mix walked towards Earth, putting his hands on the wall on both sides of Earths head, "but why? I wanna buy you one."

Earth sighed, "Mix, I'm not letting you buy me a car. Those things are expensive. I know you don't care about money, but this is too much. I can't accept that."

Mix leaned so close to Earth that barely a piece of paper would be able to get between their faces, "I don't think there is such a thing as too much when it comes to love."
