Two more weeks and I'll turn legal. Since last week, Aingel sensed my disappointment but she doesn't act on it. We haven't talked since then.

I'am back at the Land of Prosperity and I'm standing here in Prosperity Hall and somehow I'm in front of Seraphina.

"Hello Erelah. I've always knew caelum would name you good." Seraphina always calls the Heavens as caelum. Today our group is assigned to deliver the messages. The others already were assigned and they flew away. "Caelum gives us our own gifts. Unique. And you've got the best yet. Golden wings." She shakes her head as if the thought amuses her. "Second best is me. These wings are my greatest gift." She spreads them out and sure enough, they look monstrous up close. Detailed and all. Her wings are about three times longer than ours. "Okay," she says, "I need you to deliver this message to the Grand Monarchy." She hands me a letter sized envelope bordered with series of metallic lines and is seal by The Circle. The Circle is a symbol which is shaped like the sun and is printed within the envelope. Like a tattoo. Seraphina looks at me intently and leans forward. "Now Angel, what is the first rule by the Angel Gabriel?" Somehow, to us Angels, that question that Seraphina asks us is not really like a question, it's more of a command.

"Never break the seal of The Circle." I say coolly. She smiles and leans back to her throne, which is a special golden chair. She exhales and says, "Go on."

I nod once, all business, and head out through her door. Once I'm out, I clutch the letter and head out to the front door of the Prosperity Hall. I spread my wings and fly high. The way to the Grand Monarchy is fast if you fly. Yes, some of us Angels walk because if we use our wings too often, they may wither and fall just like flowers. Of course they will regenerate, but the regeneration may take up to three weeks, and that's pretty long if you're an Angel because time is faster if you are too. I pass through Terram pax and through the Land of Freedom then through the Land of Miracles and then I land on one of the pillars of the Grand Monarchy. The Grand Monarchy is a place where all of the Higher Committees exist. I jump down the pillar and head through the doors which are twice as big and wide as the one we have in Prosperity Hall. I knock twice and say my Covey name. "Erelah, descendant of Angel Gabriel from the Messenger Covey." The door groans and opens. I walk inside, my flats making flopping sounds all the way to the grand desk at the end of the hallway. It's so quiet, it's deafening. I finally reach the desk but it's so high I need to tiptoe and clutch the edges so I can peek ever so slightly. "Um, A message to the Higher Committee from Angel Seraphina, second in command." The woman looks up from where she was looking below and her glasses hang from the bridge of her nose.

"Give it to me." Her voice is so stern and so serious it makes me shudder a little then I slide the letter on the desk because she didn't even outstretch a hand. Her papery white skin turn to face me and cocks her head to the door signalling me to go.

I nod and turn my back to her then I start walking. My wings open and the sound of clearing throat stops them in mid-spread. I turn back and the woman says, "No flying allowed." She actually loudens her voice and they bounce back from the walls. Allowed...allowed...allowed...

I nod and close my wings again and head to the door on foot. I go out and fly back to the Land of Prosperity. I go back and head to my dorm. I sit on my bed and sigh. Two more weeks.
