y/n got up from her bed, yawning and looking down at her phone. She noticed a few texts from her friend Daichi, reading them she realized he was going to have an off day from school which meant they could finally hang out. She took this opportunity and quickly texted him back "let's hang out, let's meet at the beach around sunrise and have a picnic and enjoy our time together." she sent the text and waiting for the text to have him agree. Once the text bubbles began to show up she got excited, seeing he agreed to jumped out of her bed and ran into her bathroom
They quickly jumped into the shower, washing their hair and body before stepping out and brushing out the freshly washed hair. Deciding to leave their face natural, y/n walked back into their bedroom and began to look for clothes to wear. Deciding on some highly ripped jeans and a loose t-shirt to match her latest fashion they slid on the clothes and spun around in the mirror placed in the back of the closet "perfect!!" they giggled and then hopped over to their phone and began to text Daichi one last time before leaving "i'll be there in about 20 minutes, meet me there?" they sent the text and got a confirmation text back, agreeing to meet at the beach in a little less or exactly in 20 minutes.
Y/n grabbed their keys to their car, their wallet, and their phone before locking the front door and heading to the car, unlocking it their got inside and started it beginning to drive to the beach
It didn't take long for y/n to arrive, getting there way quicker than expected. they waited inside of the car until the recognizable car of Daichis appeared in the distance. They got back out of their car and locked it with everything important in hand. Daichi pulled into the parking lot and the parked, getting our as well and walking over to them. Y/n quickly jumped into his arms, hugging him as tightly as possible because they missed them more than they actually realized. The hug felt like heaven, a soft sweet feeling of just being close to their best friend made them happy and loved. His hand ran up and down their back in a slow and soft motion, giving them even more comfort than before "it's nice to actually see you in person again sunshine" Daichi spoke and took her hand "cmon let's go to the sand, it's been long enough" he definitely was not patient, y/n thought to herself before agreeing and walking behind him to the sand. Once they both had gotten there, Daichi sat down first then Y/n between his legs and leaning on him "are you comfortable?" he spoke and they nodded. y/n missed this, they missed this feeling of just being around and being near their best friend since they didn't get this much since it was Daichis last year and he was super super busy.
"Daichi, let's enjoy this moment. for as long as we can" y/n spoke and pushed their head into his chest. they didn't want this moment to end ever and they hoped it never would, even though they both had school tomorrow y/n was willing to be late to school for him.
"Y/N can i tell you something?" Daichi began to speak, hearing a soft crack in his voice y/n nodded and looked up at him "i didn't actually have an off day.." he began to speak then was cut off by them "YOU DIDNT THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE RIGHT NOW YOU NEED TO BE AT SCHOOL" y/n screamed at him before he covered her mouth "for one i'm not at school because i wanted to spend time with you, and two i can always go in late. but i will never always be able to sit and watch the sun come up with my favorite girl in this entire world" he kissed the top of their head which made them smiled. y/n turned away from him and began to face the sky, both of them laying back in the sand and enjoying the view "there is no other place i'd rather be right now then here with you." Daichi finished his sentence before y/n reached up and kissed him deeply, the sunset directly behind the beautiful scene as the passionate kiss was made and exchanged. sparks flying and love being formed from both sides of the friendship...and at that very moment, it was clear to them. clear their friendship was something more.
