It was after school. I had just finished a exam and was about to go home and was heading out towards the gym when i heard a voice
I felt like I looked everywhere and was highly confused on where the noise was coming from, then I looked to see him in the gym..Tanaka
Me and Tanaka used to be super close when we were little but we both separated from each other as we got older and we never fully agreed to end the friendship and to this day still think about him and how good of a friend he was
I walked towards the gym doors and peered into the room as he turned his day and smiled softly "Hey Y/N, long time no see" he chuckled and threw the ball up in the air and hit it as Nishinoya hit it from the other side
I could tell they were practicing and I didn't want to interrupt so I started walking out
Before reaching the gym doors I heard behind me "No stay.. I can teach you a couple moves, maybe even catch up while we're here. i know you always loved volleyball" he said as I turned smiling shaking my head
I can't believe after all this time he still remembers that I loved playing it, my mom loved playing it and taught me. couple moves before she died a couple years ago.
I walked towards him "Are you actually gonna teach me or are you gonna gloat Ryunosuke?" I said teasing him.
Ever since we were kids he always liked being referred as Tanaka as Ryunosuke because he didn't like his first name that much and also for respect reasons of course.
He face started getting red as he got closer to me "take it back right now y/l/n"
I giggled " why? is little Tanaka mad?"
He turned back to look at Nishinoya and pointed him out as he looked back at me
" I said take it back Y/N" he said sternly which I again denied as he got even madder
He walked closer to me as I backed up into the wall

I will admit I kinda got nervous but then he started laughing and hugged me " its great to have you back bitchass"

Nishinoya came back in and they started practicing again and I stayed there till they stopped then walked with Tanaka home.
Once we got to his house I hugged him and whispered in his ear "It's great to have you back too hot head ugly ass" I chuckled and started walking away as he laughed walking into his house
