It was one day after school. You had just gotten out of school at (insert choice of school) and was heading to her house. Tsukishima has a rough day at school and was irritated so he tried to keep his distance from you so he didn't upset you. As you were walking you saw him walking towards his house and you decided to catch up to him. "Tsuki wait up" you said as you ran to him. He tried to stay quiet but ended up blurting out "i love you but I don't have time to deal with you today idiot". He had always given you nicknames like that so you thought nothing of it and figured he was just messing around so you stayed with him and walked with him to his house. You talked most of the time while he would give one worded answers and try to end the conversation as much as possible. All he wanted was peace and quiet because he was just annoyed and wanted to relax and rest before the game the next day. As you reached his house he stopped and looked at you. "Okay well. bye" he said as he walked into the house. Usually when walking together whenever one got to the others house they would hug each other by since he wasn't really into kissing or anything like that in public. "D-Did I do something" you said quietly as he turned around to look at you. He didn't want to be mean but he was starting to get a headache and wanted you to leave so he spoke his mind. "Oh I don't know, Maybe you did. Starting with the fact that I wanted to be alone and you insisted on walking with me. Or the fact that you didn't shut up the entire way here. Or the fact that you didn't notice I didn't want to talk to you when I was trying to end the conversation." He said. Normally he wouldn't have said this and probably would've just shrugged it off but today was different. You started to tear up. You had always been a (insert trait) person but this time you didn't know whether you were crying because he was actually being mean or the fact that you upset him. You tried to walk away but he forced you to stay. "Don't you start crying. You know I love you but sometimes you need a break" He said as you looked up at him. "I get that you had a bad day. But how the hell is it my fault. I do the same thing everyday. We walk home together and I talk the entire time. You didn't have a problem then but now you suddenly do? Honestly, never talk to me again". You walked away crying as he tried to stop you but you wouldn't listen. You got home and automatically fell asleep since you were sorta tired and wanted the day over with. For the next couple days you avoided him as much as you could he eventually you couldn't anymore. His house was past yours so you had to walk past it everyday and everyday he would be waiting on you to apologize. This day in particular was different, You walked on the other side of the road so he couldn't physically stop you from walking and when he tried to talk you kept walking. No matter what he stayed behind you and kept talking and kept saying how sorry he was. Eventually you turned around and looked at him, "I loved you. I'm sorry you were having a bad day and I'm sorry if I made it worse. I just wanted to be near you because you make me happy. I just wanted to be beside you and walk home like we always do. But you had no right to say any of that to me after I've stuck by your side no matter what. I have always loved you and just because you had one bad day doesn't mean you get to shatter my heart by saying that. I accept your apology, but you're gonna have to get my trust back.
