Me and Daichi have been dating for a little bit now, and honestly I love him a lot. He's so sweet and caring and he always cares about my feelings. But recently he's been acting strange..
Every week we have a date night which was usually every Thursday, but for what reason he forgot this week.
For the last couple days he's been what feels like avoiding me. He hasn't answered any of my texts let alone not talk to me at school.
After missing another date night I was finally done and decided to go to his house.
Usually I don't have to knock but for some reason this time I did, which made me even more suspicious
After a couple knocks he finally answered the door "oh hey" he said then smiled softly
I rolled my eyes and looked at him, " don't just hey me, you haven't texted me in 2 weeks and you've missed date night twice. I'm scared Daich, Am I losing you?"
His smile quickly turned into a frown as he looked at me "babe...you aren't losing me I was just busy"
I looked at him curious, what could have been so important that he couldn't have at least texted me what was going on. I understand if it's something bad but he could've told me and I would have came and helped him if possible.
" I-I was studying" he scratched the back of his head nervously
I scoffed " I call bull shit" I said putting my hands on my waist looking at him
"Okay fine, I was doing something but you can't know. but I was busy" he looked down at the ground then back up
I shrugged and started walking down the driveway " okay, I give up" I said and heard footsteps behind me "babe please"
I turned and looked at him "I just wanted to know what has been up with you, I get worried and not because I think you'd cheat but because I care about you and I want to make sure you're okay and I can't do that unless you tell me how your life and how everything is going. I can't help you if you don't tell me stuff. Remember, you said we were in this relationship forever, and that if one needs help the other helps and if ones sick you stay with the other till they're better. Well how I supposed to know what's wrong if you won't tell me what's been up with you"
He sighed and nodded "okay I'll tell you" he grabbed my hand and pulled me away from the road and to his front door again.
" I have noticed that the guys have stopped practicing because they wanted me to be bale to spend time with you, so I thought maybe if I didn't talk to you or even speak to you at all that you would end up dumping me or something like this would happen and I would be able to tell you what was going on. However, I didn't mean to take it this far and I am very very sorry" he said hugging me tightly
I knew this wasn't like him and if I would've checked on him before then I wouldn't have has to be scared for him. It's my fault for not being more curious and making sure he was okay and I do understand he was trying to better the team he just did it in the wrong way. I hugged him tightly.
"I know that wasn't the right thing to do and that definitely wasn't like me because you know i'd never do something like that for no reason. Baby I am so sorry, please forgive me."
I nodded and kissed him softly as he kissed back. I let go of him and smiled " I'll see you tomorrow babe" I said as I walked to my car and turned it on driving away
All relationships have bad times and at some points it may feel like they aren't being themselves, but now I know. Daichi would definitely would do anything for his team, and that makes me smile.
