The Imperium Fleet came closer and closer as number of escort ships and battle ships can be seen cruising in the desolate space.

Carlos sent number of probes on both fleets as they came closer towards his position. Especially the orks the number of starships is almost the same with the imperium with the exception of the big ass gargantuan ship that is made out of junk.

Carlos was no fool to underestimate the orks he saw them how deadly and effective they are in the past war. The problem with orks is that they have this insane reality bending power thankfully most orks are dumb but however they use it as a way to build things even weaponry. Is almost the same with the wraithbone used by the eldar.

Despite their ships look like junks, however meeting them in the battle field is almost suicide. Thankfully Carlos have some experiences with deadly enemies back during the war.

Now the only thing Carlos was to be patient as he waited his prey coming towards his trap.

On space imperium fleets came to the planet as dozens of imperium ships hovers above the planet along with its mechanicus fleet.

"Have you establish contact?"

"Nothing admiral all connections are silent admiral there is no distress call or so."

"Hmm that is worrisome." Said the commander as he hold his chin looking down the planet.

"No matter send several valkyries towards the planet to do some intel gathering."

"Sir should I also tell the magos?."

"No they have their own objectives and never dared to listen to anyone except for themselves."

"Yes sir."

And that the main doors of the hangers of the ship along with others opens as several valkyries flew carrying imperial troops towards the planet.

The admiral can't help but feel but to be nervous for some point and it felt something bad is going to happen.

On the Magos ship he orders every personnel to make land fall, but in a different location than the imperial troops. While he orders some of the escort vessels to patrol the moons incase for surprises.

"Chances of meeting the enemy?"

"Possibility rate of success is 50% Magos whether the enemy is there or not."

"Hmm disturbing once land fall order a skitari battalion to scout the outlying areas in the region."

"At once Magos."

"Report back to me once it was done."

The tech priest nods as he walk towards the hallways.

Several Valkyries landed in a forest, hundreds of troops and came out as they secured the position. While the others went to set up a FOB. Few valkyries offered air surveillance while the others went back to the ships to gather the heavy equipments.
A group of battalion guardsmen were assigned to scout a certain area.

4 hours passed......

"Something wrong private?"

"Yes sir."

"What is it?"

"Sir have you notice there is no resistance or such as we landed on these planet."

"Yes I noticed its very disturbing and odd why the enemy has never came out and engage at us in the first place?"

Before the private could reply explosions erupted into the sky. The troops looks up to see valkyries exploded and several debris of it falls to the ground.
