Inside the destroyed Sword Base Carlos and his troops dispatch the remaining covenant troops who went inside the base.

A minor elite drops dead as purple blood splattered on the walls. Carlos troops move in to the hallways as they eliminate whatever Covenant force they met. As Carlos troops sweep the insides of the base, Carlos tried to contact Dr. Halsey in their whereabouts.
"Dr. Halsey come in!! These is Commander Forest I am here in Sword Base, where are you?" Carlos shouted into his coms.
But to his disappointment only statics he receive.
'It seems either their coms are down or something is disrupting the radio frequency.' Carlos thought.
However as time is running out Carlos used his power to detect Dr. Halsey and her team, he sends a pulse underground to find them. A bit longer Carlos found them trap inside the cave, Dr. Halsey is fine only suffer minor injuries and the Red Team suffers the most injuries.
"Cabal, do you hear me?"
"I hear you, commander orders?"
"Are there underground base nearby in my area? Is there is send those old subterranean APC I need those to dig down and rescue Halsey and her team."

"Very well, commander, sending them now. Estimation of arrival, 20 minutes."
"Good, are there anymore?"
"There is commander, after our units push back the covenant force, one covenant heavy corvette escape carrying a precious cargo. Should I send a battle group to intercept it?"
Carlos shook his head.
"No, let them get away for now. We have other issues to deal with."
"Very well commander, I'll report to you if something come up."
With that Cabal end the transmission it didn't take long as rumbling sounds were heard outside. Carlos went outside along with his troops, once they got out 3 subterranean APC resurface from the ground.
Carlos along with his troops immediately went inside the transports leaving one vacant for Halsey and her crew.
Then the 3 subterranean APCs dug down straight where Halsey and her team was located.
Within minutes the subterranean APCs burst through the ruble and in front of them were the injured Spartans guns pointed towards the APC surrounding Dr. Halsey as if protecting it from danger.
The tension from the Spartans drop once Carlos present itself along with his troops.
"Dr. Halsey?"
"Here." She muttered weakly.
Carlos went towards Dr. Halsey in which her Spartans give way. Carlos kneel besides her.
"Dr. Halsey my men will escort you and your Spartans out here towards a UNSC FOB to get your wounds treated." Carlos said in seriousness.
