Staples Center
Backstage"You're doing amazing baby," Jamal was right there when Diamant got off the stage. She didn't answer him though, she just pushed past him and took the bottle of water and towel being held out to her.
And she didn't have time to respond to him before her team was all around her, guiding her back to the dressing room.
"Dia," he entered the room, not all caring about how hectic everyone was in there trying to get her ready to get back on stage.
"I'm working Jamal," Diamant continued to ignore him. She didn't have time for him, not when she had only a few minutes for an outfit change before her next set.
"You know I can't stay for the whole show, but I'll meet you at home, right?"
"Maybe. I might stay with my sister tonight."
"Why?" He raised his eyebrows.
Diamant knows that he knows the information about him is out, and it just pissed her off that he was playing in her face like he didn't even do shit. So she didn't respond to him.
"Let's talk about it at home," Jamal whispered when she didn't answer.
"What's there to talk about?" She got up from the chair she was sitting in after her makeup artist had fixed her face.
"A lot. Just come home when you done here," he held her waist, refusing to let her go until she agreed.
"Fine," she responded in a very dry tone. "I'll see later Jamal."
"Aight," he attempted to kiss her, but she pulled back from him. "Right, cause of your makeup?"
"Mmhm," she lied. It wasn't because of her makeup at all— they'd used enough setting spray that she'd be able to dunk face in a bucket of water if she wanted to. She just didn't want his lips on her knowing they've been on God knows who else.
