Friday, June 5th The Night Before the Wedding
"You look nervous," Ryan said as he poured a half shot for Aurora, hoping that would calm her nerves just a little bit.
"Because I am," she shook her head when he held the shot glass out to her. She didn't want to drink, because she felt like she'd throw up if she did.
"You're never nervous though?"
"I've also never been married before so..."
"It's not like she gonna change her mind this late in the game. So what you nervous for?"
"Everything," Aurora bit down on her lip as she looked at herself in the full body length mirror in her hotel room.
She was wearing a very simple dark green blouse, a pair of leather pants, and black high heeled sandals. She was going to wear a dress, but quickly decided against it at the last minute. Aurora doesn't wear dresses all that often, and she wanted to be comfortable more than anything else that night.
They were supposed to be headed out for the bachelorette party that Ryan and Wyatt had planned for her, but she didn't even want to go anymore. All she wanted to do was go home and be near Diamant, but they'd already put so much time, money, and effort into the night, so she had to go.
"Wyatt said the car is on its way," Ryan looked down at his phone.
"Hmm," Aurora hummed.
She brushed her curls back into a low ponytail, deciding not to do too much since she was getting it professionally done the next day. She just slicked it down with some gel and called it a day.
"Yo you good for real?" Ryan noticed how weird she was acting.
"I'm fine Ryan," she nodded her head.
"We ain't gotta go out tonight if you don't want to—"
"Nah, I'm good. I swear."
"Aight. But if you change your mind, just tell me."
"Oh you know I have no problem speaking up," she quickly threw some mascara and lipgloss on to finish up her final look.
"Don't I?" Ryan mumbled under his breath because he knows first hand just how outspoken Aurora can really be. She's been like that her whole life, and only got worse the older she's gotten.
