January 3rd
"We're never spending Christmas or New Years with my family again," Diamant plopped down in her seat on the jet. "Cause why did that feel like the longest week and a half of my life?"
"I don't know. I like your family," Aurora shrugged, taking the seat facing across from Dia.
"You can say that cause you ain't grow up with them."
"Pretty sure everyone thinks that about their family though."
"You don't think that about yours?" Diamant pulled her legs up into the seat with her.
"Nah, but most people do, so I'm just saying it's not abnormal. Your family loves you though, that much is for certain."
"Some of them have a very interesting way of showing it," Dia mumbled under her breath.
"If you talking about your grandmother, just ignore that shit. I already told you I don't feel no type of way about what she said to me."
"I don't care if you don't feel a type of way, I feel some type of way. Having shit to say about how I choose to live my life is one thing, but to say some outta pocket shit to my fiancé? Nah, that's where I draw the line."
"I swear that's the first time I ever heard you go off like that, and never in a million years did I think your grandmother would be on the receiving end of it."
"Everybody know I don't play when it comes to you, Rora. So I don't even know why she tried you like that."
"Oh Shanice was with the shits too," Aurora let out a little laugh remembering how they both went off at what was supposed to be a very civil Christmas dinner. "I swear I love the relationship you and your mom have."
"I'm not gonna lie, my mom is my everything for real. If don't nobody else got my back in this world, I know she got me."
"I can see that. Your mom's a bad ass, and I kinda love it. I want our future kids to have that type of relationship with us."
"And they will," Diamant reached her hand out and pulled Aurora towards her so she was sitting straddling her lap.
"This ain't safe," Aurora held onto the seat behind Dia so she wouldn't move too much as the plane took flight.
"So?" Dia smirked. She slid her hand down the back of Aurora's sweatpants, rubbing on her ass through her underwear.
"Dia. You better stop playing before I have you bent over one of these seats," Aurora whispered.
"Who's stopping you from doing it?" Dia smirked again as she pulled Aurora down onto her lips.
