"Where's my bouquet?" Aurora turned to Ryan, her best man, minutes before she was supposed to be walking down the aisle.
"Didn't Sage last have it?"
"And where is she?"
"I think she went to go breast feed Abel before the ceremony starts."
"Didn't she pump for this moment exactly?"
"Aunt Theresa called her and said he wouldn't take the bottle."
"Okay fine," Aurora grabbed his hand and looked down at the time on his watch. "We have time. Hopefully she's back soon."
"She should be. Just calm down Ro," he rubbed her back.
"I am calm actually. A whole lot calmer than I was earlier at least."
"Oh I know," Wyatt walked up to them with her bouquet in his hands. He'd gone to check on things and make sure everything was still running smoothly to give Aurora just a little bit of peace of mind. "You threw up about three times from being nervous. I swore you was hungover, but you ain't even drink last night."
"We don't have to talk about that," she mumbled. "But thank you," she took the bouquet of pure white roses from him.
"And Sage is on her way down now. Everyone is already seated, Diamant and her bridal party are all ready. There ain't nothing else to do but walk down that aisle and get married to the love of your life."
"Y'all don't even know how much I appreciate and love y'all," Aurora stuck her bottom lip out, trying really hard not to start crying— again.
"I told you from when we first started working together that I'ma always have your back Ro. And I meant that. I've known you was gonna be sumn great from that first gig we worked at together. And I'm not lying when I say there's nobody else in this world I'd rather call my boss. There ain't nobody else I'd rather call my best friend. You deserve this Ro. For real."
"Okay stop," she dabbed at her under eyes. "You bouta make me cry and I don't need that shit right now."
"Okay I'm back," Sage came back into the suite. "And they're ready for us now, so we gotta go meet up with Dia's party before we all walk in."
"Okay," Aurora nodded her head.
"So this is it," Ryan took her hand to guide them to the large doors that lead out towards the garden where the ceremony was being held.
