We got to the airport on time and my flight wasn't supposed to leave until ten tonight. I had to check in, do all those things before I could leave.

I just sat there after it was all done and it was quarter to eight. I still had quite a bit of time to spare but nothing to do. Gwen said she had to go to the restroom so it was just Ace and I sitting beside each other.

I leaned my head on his shoulder and we held hands, just sitting in silence for a bit.

"I really don't want to go." I said softly. "I'm going to miss you so much."

"I'll miss you too baby."

Gwen came out of the restroom and sat beside me hugging me tight.

"I'm going to miss you." Gwen said hugging me.

"I'll miss you too Gwen," I smiled. "I'll miss our late night talks about this crazy guy." I winked, pointing to Ace.

Ace and I hung out a while just holding hands and talking. It was one of the most irrelevant conversations but I loved it. We talked about nothing as everything.

"What is up with Megan Trainor? I don't even get her songs. 'Your lips are moving so you're lying?' I think she has a lot of trust issues. I don't get the lyrics to any of her songs." Ace rambled.

"'I'm all about that bass no treble.' Is that supposed to be a pun? Cause it's a pretty bad one." I laughed.

"Last night, it was the funniest thing. So I was at college and careers right? And so we were talking about heaven and this one guy who's a sprinter was like 'so are we going to have like different skin colours in heaven?' And the new guy, who happens to be black, was like 'you just want to be black so you can run faster.' And everyone laughed so hard. I almost started crying it was pretty funny, props to him for coming up with that on the spot."

I smiled. "Wish I could've been there."

"I wish you were there. I didn't have a partner for the activity. I remember we swore to always be each other partners the first day of junior youth because we didn't know anyone else. And we never broke that promise." Ace laughed.

"I'm so sorry Ace." I frowned. "I should have been there last night."

"Promises are made to be broken." He sighed. "I knew our partnership would be over one day but I just didn't think it would come so fast."

"I'm sorry Ace," I whispered again.

"There's no need for you to be sorry, you have to go off to college. You're going to be missed but I suppose I can survive." He winked. "Your flight is probably soon." Ace said, gesturing towards the luggage.

"This is going to be the hardest goodbye." I sighed picking up my carry-on luggage.

"I wish I could come with you to Chicago," Gwen said. "I hope you're not too nervous."

"I'll be fine Gwen," I insisted. "I already had a tour of the school so I found my classes during that time." I grinned.

"Okay," she smiled. "Camilla we should head towards the gate." She said after the first call for my plane.

We made our way over there and when we got there, the lady asked me if I was ready to board the plane.

"I just have to say goodbye to my boyfriend and my sister." I smiled.

We walked to the left and Ace hugged me.

"Camilla, please don't go." He sighed, a single tear streamed down his face.

"I'll leave you two alone," Gwen smiled walking towards a vending machine.

"You know I have to leave." I sighed, wiping the tear from his cheek.
