Today is the big day! It's my nineteenth birthday. And Ace is nineteen as well. To start off my great day, I got a birthday breakfast from my family and they gave me my presents. My siblings all gave me little gifts and it was so sweet.

Ace came to our house at around 10 in the morning and we hung out all day. First, we looked through our scrapbooks and it made me cry a little. We were so young! We had a good time laughing and smiling at the picture and tears streamed down my face when we looked at some really emotional ones. They were so cute and funny.

Next, we went through the song for the wedding a couple times and whenever I messed up he would laugh at me. And even though I didn't find it that funny, it was a highlight. The thing is, embarrassing things, are normally the things that make me laugh in the future. Riley and Luke chose All of Me by John Legend. When he had higher notes; the face he made was adorable. We ended up just singing randomly and dancing, I admit it wasn't quite as organized as I'd hoped but it was fun any ways.

After a couple hours of fun, Ace told me to put on a dress. I agreed but I didn't know what he was up to. So when I finished getting dressed, I walked out into the living room (my family had left the house for a little bit) and Ace was there in nice clothes. He asked me to dance and I said yes.

He had the speakers on and it was playing my favourite love song ever; A Thousand Years by Christina Perri, it's my favourite song now.

I stood in amazement.

"W-why would you do this for me?" I spoke, in shock.

"You deserve it," He smiled.

I felt so loved at that moment. And you might think, 'that is so cheesy'. Yes is may be cheesy, but I liked it.

It was cute and we danced for a long time; I just felt so happy and I felt like the pain I've been feeling didn't even exist at the moment somehow.

I felt like Ace didn't have cancer and that everything was okay at the moment. It was magical and so sweet of him to think of. I really enjoyed it. I just can't believe he did that all for me it was the most romantic thing any guy has ever done for me.

Then he spun me around a couple times and brought me close to his face. Then we kissed softly and I looked into his eyes and there was happiness in them.

Happiness I have not seen in his eyes since he was diagnosed.

After that, he gave me a gift.

"It's not that much but I thought you might like it," He said as I opened the box which had a beautiful aqua dress in it with matching shoes.

Then, I saw underneath was a frame with pictures of us hanging by clothes pins. The frame was made of wood and it had at least 20 pictures of us together. The top two were a picture of me as a kid, and a picture of him as a kid. And the two bottom pictures were a picture of me from a few weeks ago and a picture of him from a few weeks ago. In the middle section, there were pictures of us together.

"It's beautiful! Ace I love it!" I said hugging him tightly. "Thank you so much!"

He smiled and I handed him my present to him.

The present was a scrapbook and nineteen boxes. In the big gift box I had smaller gift boxes. And in each box, there was a little gift.

I had nineteen boxes in total. (One for each year) The biggest box had a picture of him when he was one and a picture of me when I was one. With that there was a little gift. (Some stickers) In the second box, there was a picture of us at the park. I got him some paper clips with that. In the third box, there was a picture of us when we were three at my family's Christmas party. The accessory in that box was some glue. In the fourth box, there was a picture of us hugging when we were four. There was some tape in that box. The boxes went up to nineteen and each box had a picture of us from that age and a scrapbook accessory.
