It's so tough thinking that I'm moving away from my friends.

I'm moving away from Ace, the love of my life. We'll never get to go to prom together; we won't get to graduate together. This really sucks.

As I think back to a few hours ago, and I look into my empty room, I become upset again. I'm going to miss this house, a lot. I walk throughout the house. It's so empty. I can't believe I'm leaving today. I'm already hoping that Ace will come see me like all the time. I will text him and write to him, but it won't help. I'll still probably cry myself to sleep every night.

Ace called me last night and told me to come to his house today so that's what I'm doing. I have no idea what he has planned but he left me a beautiful red, lace dress telling me that he has a special surprise for me.

I'm so excited. I headed over to his place for around noon. When I walked inside Ace guided me to his basement. The lights were off and the room was decorated with candles and flower petals.

At this point though, I hadn't realized what the big occasion was. I'm moving to Vermont so what? Ace has always expressed his feelings about me leaving, but this is extraordinary.

He guided me towards a table for two with a meal he cooked himself. It was my favourite, macaroni and cheese. He knew that was my absolute favourite food of all time.

"Ace, what is all this for?" I asked astonished.

"You'll see." He smiled.

No, I hate surprises.

"Ace, really?" I whined.

"Camilla, be patient." He smirked.

"You know I'm not patient! What is this all for?"

"Fine, I'm doing it because I love you," he smiled.

"Vague." I said blankly.

"So be it. I'm not telling you the real reason until we finish dinner." He laughed.

We ate dinner, candlelit, and it was very romantic. Ace is a romantic guy and I love it.

He was a good choice Camilla.

He told me to close my eyes and wait for him to quickly set up something. I obliged and sat in my chair, itching to know what was going on.

"Okay, open your eyes." He smiled.

I opened them to see Ace holding up a sign that read:

"What God has brought together, let no man set apart."

It had a picture of Ace and I hugging when he first asked me to be his girlfriend.

I was a little confused for a second but then he brought out another poster that read:

"Love is patient, love is kind."

He had a picture on this poster of Ace and I together when we were younger and he was giving me flowers at my baptism.

Then, he had another poster that said,

"Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

This poster had pictures of us at weddings, and then a picture of me holding up my bible trying to cover my face when we were on a bible study date. I didn't want him to take that picture.

He still had another poster. I was so confused why he had so many posters.

Another poster said:

"I will travel by plane, by boat, by car, I will travel long and far. I just to have you by my side. Even if I have to swim across the ocean, I wouldn't do it just for the ride."
