I made it to my dorm. As soon as I saw Kaitlynn, I ran up to her and hugged her.

"Kaitlynn, I'm so happy to see you!" I smiled, hugging her.

"Camilla, you look amazing! I'm so glad we're roommates. I was so nervous coming here but I'm glad we connected and got a dorm together." She exclaimed.

"I am too." I said.

"So," Kaitlynn paused. "How has life been?"

"Um, it's been alright. I guess."

"How's Ace?" She asked. Kate knew Ace from when we were younger. "I heard he has leukaemia,"

"Yeah, he does. He's doing alright, he just could be better." I sighed.

"That's unfortunate," she sympathetically smiled. "So, are you excited for college?"

"Yes! I'm so excited. It's going to be an awesome year. But I'm really nervous. What if I don't know where to go?"

"You'll be fine Cam," Kaitlynn reassured. "We got our tour so we should be okay."

"Yeah, is your stuff in the room?" I asked.

"Yes, it is. You want me to help you put your stuff in?" She asked.

"If you don't mind, that would be great."

So for the next two hours, Kate and I listened to music and put my stuff in the room. We have a fairly big dorm, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen and a little living room with a T.V. It seems cozy and nice. There is also a desk in both of our rooms. We both have double beds and closets that are great sizes.

"So," I sighed putting the last few items of clothing in my closet. Kaitlynn was sitting on my bed. "Do you have a boyfriend?"

"No, I don't actually. I did but we broke up a few months ago."

"Oh, I'm sorry." I said.

"It was all for the best. You're with Ace right?"

"Yeah, I am. Could you tell by all the pictures?" I laughed. There were a bunch of pictures of Ace and I around my room.

For my birthday, Ace gave me the wooden frame with the pictures held up by clothes pins. I put that up. I really loved it.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"Quarter to seven." Kate responded after checking her phone. "We should probably have dinner soon."

"Can we just order pizza?" I sighed, laughing.

"Sure," Kaitlynn smiled in agreement. We got a pepperoni pizza and watched Netflix until one in the morning. Classes don't start for a few days so we just didn't really care.

After we watched our marathon of movies, Kaitlynn went to bed. I watched a couple episodes of Friends. I turned out the lights and fell asleep during the middle of the episode.

At about four in the morning I woke up. I got a drink of water and leaned against the counter. I've been sleeping on and off for about two hours. My mind is racing and I can't keep my mind off one thing, Ace. He's been constantly on my mind ever since I left him at the airport. I miss him so much. Not just him, but also my family, I've been tossing and turning for a couple hours just thinking about Ace.

Finally, I decided to call him.

The phone rang on his end a couple times before he answered.

"Hello?" He answered groggily. His voice sounded so amazing.

"Hey Ace," I said softly.

"Baby, how are you?" He asked, suddenly sounding awake.
