[Intense topic, descriptive scenes]

Today, I went to see Dakota. It was a weird topic to talk about since she blackmailed Ace and told him to have sex with her.

I didn't really want to talk about it but it had to be done.

Dakota and I had to finish up a project so I decided to bring it up then.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" I asked quietly.

"Sure thing," Dakota smiled.

"Why did you blackmail Ace telling him to have sex with you?" Her face turned red.

"I-I don't really think this is a good time to be talking about this because-"

"You did what?!" A familiar voice shrieked from outside the door. Clearly I had been speaking to loud. Unfortunately, that voice was from her mother.

Dakota's mum, red as a tomato in anger, burst into Dakota's room.

"What did you do to that poor boy Dakota? And don't you dare tell anything short of the truth!"

"Mum- I can't do this-" Dakota ran off into the bathroom and locked her mother out.

"Camilla, do you know what happened?" Her mother questioned me.

"Yes, Ace told me everything." I honestly answered.

"Start from the beginning please, and don't forget a single detail."

That's when I told the story almost word for word from how Ace told me. Her mother seemed fairly upset throughout the whole story.

After the whole crazy event at Dakota's, I knocked on the bathroom door so I could get into the see what was going on. I heard her sobbing and yelling at someone. She was the only one in there. I started to get really worried so I called for her parents and her dad pounded on the door.

Her dad eventually knocked down the door and I saw Dakota trying to open a bottle of pills. Her mascara was running down her face and the mirror was shattered.

"Dakota." I stood there staring at her trying to open the pills. She was about to end her life.

"I can't open them!" She screamed. Her mom and dad and I all tried to get the pills from her. She popped them open letting them scatter all over the bathroom floor. I screamed trying to not let her get any of them. My hands were shaking so much and her dad told me to call an ambulance. I wondered why but then I saw Dakota's head bleeding very badly.

I ran downstairs and called 911.

"Do you need the police, fire fighters or paramedics?" The voice answered.

"I need an ambulance and the police please." I gave them the information and then quickly called Ace.

"Ace, I'm so scared."

"What's happening?" He asked.

"D-Dakota is trying to kill herself. I called the ambulance and the police and her parents are here but I'm so scared. Can you please come to her house?"

"Of course," he spoke over the phone.

I went upstairs to see if everything was okay. I saw Dakota lying on the floor with her parents sitting beside her. Her dad was holding a wet cloth to her forehead, which was full of blood. I told them I called the police and ambulance.

I can't believe my best friend just tried to kill herself, all because of one mistake. I felt like everything around me was happening in slow motion.
