___________Lyra's POV
"Aang left" Bato stated growing pale.
My heart dropped but my anger leapt.
"What do you mean "Aang left"?" I quoted him.
"He-He- He left, he had hidden information to your father from Katara, and Sokka" Bato explained fearfully as I walked him into a wall,
"Lyra, please be logical. It wasn't my choice to make" he begged me to understand.
"Perhaps" I said inclining my head regally, "but you still withheld that information from me. Why didn't Katara or Sokka come? Where are they?" I demanded shaking with anger.
Small drops of water in the air had risen and surrounded me like soldiers awaiting orders.
"Lyra, please" Bato begged again, "He left, for the north pole. I stopped Katara and Sokka from telling you because I said you were in a healing session for your eyes. I only want your safety at heart!" Bato promised.
I sneered at him with my nostrils flared,
"I am not a helpless fool, Bato. I have worked for years to gain they're trust, and respect. If it's because of you I lose that, you won't enjoy the repercussions; I can promise you that" I threatened.
My logical thinking cleared somewhat and I backed away from Bato, who could only watch in shock.
"I'm departing in a few hours to search for Aang, I need to fix this disaster" I said solemnly.
Bato didn't reach out to stop so I took that as my time to go.
I approached the entrance of the abbey building and entered it quietly.
I 'saw' the same elder,
"Excuse, me ma'am?" I called her attention.
She approached me with the grace of a royal ostrich horse,
"How can I assist you, Lyra?" She asked pleasantly, and I couldn't help but drop the tense demeanor.
"I need some trave supplies for one person, please" I requested, and dropped a few coins I had earned from a few odd jobs.
"Of course, no need for the money, dear. I figured you would go after the boy, so I was prepared" she said motioning toward a bag sat on the counter.
"It's got everything in it" she assured me.
I nodded my thanks just as Asura walked in licking her beak.
"Perfect timing" she smiled and I agreed.
"Stay safe, and do come by if you are in need of healing." She said, waving me off.
"Thank you" I said great fully.
I left on Asura with my bag full.
I was about to leave when suddenly I heard Appa.
I turned my head in the direction in and instant and steered Asura towards the beach.
She took air, seeming to notice the tension in my bones.
"Aang!" I shouted as I landed, "what are you doing, foolish boy!" I scolded him as I jumped off Asura.
"Lyra? What are you doing? I thought you were going with Sokka and Katara" he gasped and ran to hug me.
I chuckled bitterly,
"You need a guard, spirits know Zuko is still trying to hunt you down."
"Thanks, Lyra" Aang smiled sadly as Asura and I joined him on the saddle.
"Ready?" He asked prepared to take off.
Suddenly we were interrupted by one of the sisters at the abbey,
"Avatar, you must leave!" She urged Aang.
Aang went slightly defensive,
"Okay, I get it. Everybody wants me gone".
I leapt off Appa to go to the sister,
"What's going on?" I stated the question.
"A group of people came to the abbey looking for you!" The sister shuddered.
"Who?!" Aang asked.
"A fierce looking woman with a horrible monster, and a young man with a scar" she finished fearfully.
"Zuko" Aang and I realized at the same time.
"The beast was using the scent of a necklace to follow you" the sister informed us.
It took my brain a second to comprehend when it hit me,
"Katara's necklace!" I panicked.
_________Aang and I both took off, him on his glider, and me using the water in the air like a scooter.
"What's it doing?" I could hear Zuko's angry voice.
Aang dive bombed the creature making it rear back and flip everyone off it's back.
I wrapped a rope of water around it's snout and froze it solid.
The creature wasn't fazed and simply broke the band as it, and it's owner came to attack me.
Asura headbutted the creature hard, making it go flying into the abbey wall.
I smirked and Asura gave a shrill hiss in anger.
I couldn't help but notice that Zuko was battling Aang and their elements crashed together in an explosion.
The monster was heading towards Appa, and Appa attempted to dodge only to be hit by it's tongue. He landed but shook as he struggled to stand and I jumped in front of the bison.
The monster and I Appa both stood seconds later and I jumped onto the bisons head.
The monster, and Appa raced forward, and the monsters owner was shot into the air and I heard the crack of a whip and Appa's growls.
"You bitch!" I gritted jumping off Appa to deal with this bitch of a woman.
Appa slammed his foot down where the woman had been but rolled to avoid it.
I noticed Zuko on the roof and I noticed an unconscious Aang.
"Asura! Help Appa! I need to take care of something!" I whistled.
"Aww that's cute, you need your little pets to take on me? How adorable." The bitch taunted.
I glared towards her sending a water whip at her,
"I'll deal with you later" I growled and Asura and Appa took free reign.
I jumped in between Aang and Zuko just in time when I noticed Zuko hesitate to attack me but I didn't.
"Back the hell up, Zuko" I glared.
"Aang just go, I'll deal with this" I stated without turning to Aang.
Aang nodded and went to Sokka and Katara but I kept my attention on Zuko.
"Just try me, I dare you."
