Unexpected Love

Chapter 3

*Ella's POV*
I wake up with a whole bunch of texts from Cameron about Cassie.
[Me: What?]
[Cam: come to Starbucks]
[Me: fine]
I then got dressed and got in my car without eating anything. I have no idea if I should be worried. I think I should. I finally arrived at Starbucks and saw Cassie crying in Cameron's lap. I walk over to her and she looks like a complete mess. She then gets off Cams lap and gives me the biggest hug ever. I needed this and I could tell she needed this. "Cassie, whats wrong?" Her mom steps into the conversation and explains the argument with Michael. I was so pissed at him. I have no idea why but he hurt not only my best friend, but his own fucking stepdaughter.

*Laceys POV*
After I saw Ella walk into Starbucks and walk over to Cassie, I decided to step into the conversation and explain the fight with Michael. Ella looked so pissed and Cameron look pissed too. Cassie was still crying her eyes out in Cams lap. "Mrs. Jenkins, my mom has 2 extra rooms at our house if you guys would like to stay."
"Aww, Cameron thank you. Tell your mom thanks and I'll probably be over tomorrow." Cameron then shook his head and called his mom. I could see him being a good boyfriend to Cassie.

*Cassie's POV*
When Cameron told us his mom coffered for us to stay, I was really happy. I could actually be safe. I mean I feel safe when I'm with my mom, but when its all 3 of us, I really don't feel safe enough. I then get zoned out of my thoughts by a hug from Cameron and Ella. I'm so glad to have these goofballs as my best friends. I then looked at my phone and saw that it was 8:30, fuck were gunna be late. "Mom were gunna be late."
"I already called the school and explained what happened this morning."
"Thanks mom, I'll see you after school, I love you."

We finally arrived at school around 8:45 being the center of attention. We then went  to general admission and got our class schedules. Ella, Cam and I all have the same classes together. Yay.

•At Lunch•
I see some fimilar guys in the lunch line.
"Cam, those guys look familiar."
"They are the Magcon boys." I then nearly faint in my mind. I've never told anybody this, but for a while, I've had a crush on Jack Gilinsky. Even Ella didnt know. Cameron and I walk over to the table where Ella is sitting at. The next thing you know, Matt, Carter, Aaron, Gilinsky, JJ, Taylor, Nash, and Shawn start walking to our table. I nearly try not to bite my lip when I notice Gilinsky is checking me out. I could see Cam's jawline clench. Is he jealous? Does he like me? Fuck. I. Think. He. Does.
