Unexpected Love

Chapter 6

*Cassie's POV*
I have so many feelings right now. I really don't know what to think. I like Cameron and I like jack too. But I'm with Cameron and I think it's bad to like both of them. But jack said he'll be waiting for me. I can't end me & Cameron's relationship right now. I really don't wunna end it all if I don't have to. I decided to text Cameron to let him know I'm okay.
[Me: hey cam, it's Cassie, I just wunna let you know I'm at home and I'm okay. love you.]
[Cammy: hey princess, thank you for letting me know your okay, do you want me to come over?]
[Me: yes please.]
[Cammy: okay I'll be there soon babe.]
I read Cameron's text and lay down on my bed. All of a sudden my little sister Emmy comes in my room crying.
"SISSY MOMMY IS HURT!"
"Emmy what's going on?"
"Go down stairs sissy, I'll stay up here."
"Okay. I'll be back."
I walk downstairs and see Micheal punching and kicking my mom.
Micheal then hears my footsteps and yells "GET THE FUCK OUT YOU WHORE!" I wanted to cry but then instead I called 911.
*911 Call*
"911 What's your emergency?"
"Um hi, my step-dad is abusing my mom and I'm really scared."
"Okay sweetie, don't worry we'll be there soon. For now go hide. And unlock the front door so we can walk in quietly."
*Sobbs" Okay. Thank you."
*Phone Call Ends*
I then run upstairs and tell Emmy what's going on. 10 minutes later Cameron and the cops show up. I hear a knock on my door and see a cop who looks fimilar with Cameron.
"Ma'm who is this?"
"Um this is my boyfriend Cameron."
The cop then walks down stairs. All I could do is run to Cam and cry in his arms. Emmy runs up and holds his leg with fear and a crying face. All if a sudden I hear the cops yell.
"Freeze Michael Caputo your under arrest for abusement and drug smuggling. Put your hands behind your back and remain silent. Whatever you say or do will be put up against you in the order of the law."
I can't believe my step-dad was a drug smuggler. I just wish my real dad lived with us. I've heard so many good things about him. The only bad thing he did was try meth & be addicted to it for 2 years before I was born. I hope he isn't the same anymore.
