Unexpected Love

Chapter 49

*Shawn's POV*
Since it's our last day in Oregon, I chose to take Ella on a date. I told her the plan and we both got ready.

While getting ready, Aaron came and told us that he wanted to go look around Portland.

"Sorry man, I have something planned with Ella."

"It's okay Shawn, I'll see y'all later."

10 minutes later, we were finished getting ready. We walk out of the hotel and hopp in a cab.

"So, Shawn where are we going?"

"To the lake."

"I didn't bring a swim suit."

"I packed one for you."

She smiled and looked down at her phone.

*Cassie's POV*
I wake up to a Starbucks and a Sammy in my face.

"Good afternoon princess."

I look at the clock and see it's 6pm.

"Holy crap, I slept for 3 hours?"

"Yeah, I slept for 2."

He hands me my Starbucks and gives me a kiss. I get up out of bed and walk into the bathroom. I fix my messy bun and wash my hands.

When I walk out of the bathroom, I see a half naked Sammy in boxers. I always end up in these situations with him.

"Sammy, how do I always end up in these situations with you?"

"I don't know, you just do."

I hear my phone go off and see that Ella texted me.

Ella❤: hey, I'm on my way back to the hotel.

Me: okay, see you soon girlll

For the time being, I continued watching Ghost Adventures, while Sammy was cleaning.

"Babe, do you need help cleaning?"

"No, I'm fine love."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes babe."

"Positive?"

"Oh my god, get your ass over here and help if you want to."

I get off the bed and turn on some music. For about an hour, we were dancing and cleaning.

Ella walks in the door and yells "GOALS." Sammy and I laugh and finish cleaning.

"Ella, where is Shawn?"

"He went to meet up with the rest of the guys."

"How come you didn't go?"

"I didn't feel like it."

"Oh, well come have fun with us girl."

She comes over to help us clean and takes videos of us. While she is recording, Sammy grabs my hand and spins me around and I fall into the bath tub. All of us were laughing so hard. Soon cleaning turned into a Snapchat video recording session.

While I was taking a shot of Vodka, Jack and everyone else walks in. I quickly swallow the shot and walk out of the kitchen.

Sammy pulls me aside.

"Cassie, why did you swallow the shot so fast?"

"I had to because I knew Jack would want some."

"Why do you care babe?"

"He'll get really drunk and want to fight and have an argument with me for us breaking up."

"Oh okay. I love you Cassie."

"I love you too Sammy."

He picks me up by my legs and holds me tightly in his arms.

"Goals."

I look up and see Johnson with my phone. He took a picture and set it as my home screen.

I go give Johnson a hug and walk out of the bathroom with him and Sam.

*4:10 am*

We all finished packing about 10 minutes ago and headed out of the hotel to be at the airport in like 50 minutes. I fell asleep on the way there, so did Ella.

30 minutes later we arrived at the airport and had 20 minutes to spare to get to our boarding lane.

After going through security, we boarded our flight 1 minute before it took off. We were lucky.

*3 hours later*

We arrived back in California.

"It feels good to be home."

"Yes it does."

We checked our bags out and waited for my mom outside of the airport.

Momma❤: I'll be there in 5 minutes. Emily is with me.

Me: okay, Sammy bought something for her.

5 minutes later, my mom showed up. She got out of the car and gave me the biggest hug ever. Emily ran up to Ella and then me.

"I missed you so much monkey butt!"

"I missed you to sissy."

Soon Sammy pops around behind me and Emily was happy to see him.

"Emily, I have something for you."

"What is it Sammy?"

He hands her a stuffed animal and she nearly flips out.

"Sammy?"

"Yes Emmy?"

"I love you."

This is melting my heart. He would be such a good father, not that I want children, but he would be.
