Unexpected Love

Chapter 38

*Cassie's POV*
I hear my alarm go off at 4:30 and I groan. Sammy wakes up in a good mood, which is weird. I drift my eyes back to sleep. A minute later, I am awakened by a cold glass of water poured onto my face.

"What the actual fuck?"

"Sorry. You needed to be awake." Nate replied.

"You could've fucking tickled me or something."

"Nah. Cold water was good."

I walk out of my room into the bathroom in a pissed off mood. I brushed my hair and put it up in a messy bun, washed my face, and texted Ella.

Me: hey jellybean, don't know if your awake yet, but at the airport were gunna get a Starbucks run. See you soon bb.

I walk out of the bathroom to go get dressed. Since I didn't care how I looked and it's like 4:45 morning, I put on sweatpants and one of Sammy's shirts that say "Don't Disrespect Bro."

"Let's go put our stuff in the car and head to the airport."

"Okay."

I walk out to my car and put the suitcases in the trunk.

When I was finished, I see Johnson, Ella, Shawn, Nash, Hayes and Jack pull up into my drive way. What are they doing here?

"Hey Cass, do you mind if we ride with you to the airport?"

"I don't care Johnson."

We all get into the car to head to the airport. Jack and Nate are upfront while Sammy, Hayes and I are in the middle row with Johnson, Ella, Nash and Shawn in the back. Sammy grabs my headphones and plugs them into his phone and turns on music. I rest my head on his shoulder while Hayes' feet our on my legs.

About an hour later, we arrive at the airport and decide to meet up with Aaron, Matt, Cameron, Taylor, and Carter at Starbucks. Sammy and I walk hand-in hand throughout the airport. After going on the elevator, we all finally arrive at Starbucks.

"Hi, what can I get you?"

"Um may I please have a Venti Caramel Coca Cluster Frap?"

"Of course, what's your name?"

Sammy steps in and says "Sammy's Girl."

The cashier looks at him weirdly and takes his order. Without even asking, for his name she put "Cassie's Man." Dam she's on a roll even though were not dating. After the lady gave us all of our drinks, we took a squad pic and posted it on Snapchat.

Around 6:10, Bart shows up at our terminal.

"Hello guys! So glad to see you! Our flight leaves at 7:30 and we should arrive in Portland Oregon around 10:00. You guys will all be staying in La Quinita Inn & Suites; Portland Airport. I have assigned you your rooms.
Sammy, Nate, Johnson and Jack will share a room. Cameron, Aaron, Nash and Shawn will be sharing a room. Matt, Carter, Taylor and Hayes will be in a room. Ella and Cassie get a room to themselves. You guys have 20 minutes before the flight leaves. If you go anywhere, I suggest that you be careful on how far you go so you won't miss your flight! Later guys."

We all said goodbye to Bart and just decided to hangout by the terminal instead of walking around the airport.
I look down at my phone and see that Hayes texted me even though he's right next to me.

Poohbear❤: so you and Sammy?

Me: what about us?

Poohbear❤: y'all a thing?

Me: idk

Poohbear❤: what about Jack?

Me: I'm still a little hurt over it, but I've mostly gotten over it.

Poohbear❤: good. What about Cam?

Me: we good

Poohbear❤: good

Me: yea lol

I look up to see that Sammy is passed out on my shoulder. I try moving because I was uncomfortable, but it was impossible. A minute or two later, Johnson could see that I wanted to move, so he yelled in Sammy's ear.

"SAMMY WAKE UP."

His reaction was priceless and scared the shit out of him.

"In 5 minutes, Terminal A's flight to Portland Oregon will be taking off."

All of us stood up and walked to the Terminal and waited until we could board the plane. About a minute later, they let us start boarding the plane.

I sat in between Sammy and Ella.
For some reason Shawn wasn't in a good mood so he had Cameron sit by him. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I decided to text my mom to let her know everything is okay.

Me: hey mom, were on the plane right now. I'll call you when we land. Love you❤

Mommy❤: okay, love you too Cass❤

I put in my headphones and looked on my social medias. Of course Sammy took a selfie. Love this kid.

Soon the plane was in the air. 2 hours and we will arrive in Portland.
