Unexpected Love

Chapter 21

*Cassie's POV*
Around 7:30 our house phone rings. I run downstairs to answer it. It's my school.
"Hello, EastWood Students, there is no longer school today because of the massive hail storm from last night. Have a great day and be safe!" I run upstairs and let Jack and my mom know. My mom woke up, got ready and then had Emily get ready. She told me she was going to visit Michael at the police station while my dad was on duty. I didn't want to see Michael because I don't want anything to do with him anymore. I change my clothes into comfier clothes. I put on the hoodie Jack made for me with our picture on it with some black sweatpants. I don't know what to do today. In four days it's Halloween and Jack wants to throw a party. So we suggest that we go Halloween shopping. I text Ella and see if she wants to come.
Me: hey Jack and I are going Halloween shopping, do you and Shawn want to come? You don't have to.
Ella❤: Shawn said he had something planned, but possibly later we can go costume shopping together?
Me: okay sounds good. Let me know.
Jack gets out of bed and puts on a black hoddie with joggers. I grab my phone, wallet and keys and head out the door with Jack. I drove because it was my car lol. We talked all the way there. He talked about how amazing I was, how he is lucky to have me and so excited to see what the future has in store for us. I felt a tear come down my face. He's so sweet. About 10 minutes later, we arrive at Party City for the supplies. I look down at my phone and see I have a text from Cameron. Weird.
Cameron Dallas: can we talk
Me: why and when
Cameron Dallas: whenever is fine and I just wunna talk.
Me: okay I guess. I'll see what I have planned.
Cameron Dallas: k
I let Jack read the messages.
"What should I do babe?"
"Does he want to meet up or have a phone call? I'm thinking a phone call would be better."
"I don't know what he wants babe, but if it is a phone call, I was thinking that I could put him on speaker and you can hear what he says."
"Okay that sounds good Cassie."
He's so understanding. Around 11:30 we finish buying the supplies. We bought outside decorations, tables, cups, plates, and other things. I was thinking that the way you had to enter the party was by walking through the "Haunted House." So for that, we bought fake tools, chuckie dolls, scream masks, Freddy Kruger claws and spider webs. It all costed around 130$. Not that bad. Next was costume shopping. I get a text from Ella.
Ella❤: hey where are you guys to buy coustumes?
Me: Party City.
Ella❤: okay were coming.
Me: okay. yay.
10 minutes later Ella, Shawn, Taylor, Nash, Hayes, Carter, Johnson, Aaron and Matt show up. Jack and I wanted to match this year so we looked for couples outfits. We found a few we liked. Mickey & Minne, Woody & Jessie, and Sully & Boo. Everyone said that Woody and Jessie would be really cute. Shawn and Ella found Social Media costumes. Shawn picked out Vine and Ella chose Twitter. Aw. Matt wanted to be Justin Bieber with Kian Lawley. Carter was going to be himself, Aaron chose to be a gangster, Nash and Hayes matched as Sully and Mike, Johnson chose to be Bullzeye and match with us. I didn't mind. Taylor didn't want to dress up. After we bought our costumes, we went to lunch at Chipoltle. When we arrived, All of the guys randomly said "Oh my god, I love Chipoltle, Chipoltle is my life." I started laughing real hard and got it on video. Around 1:00pm everyone went home to go do their own things. The day was fun so far. Cameron then texted me again.

Cameron Dallas: hey can you still talk
Me: yea.
Cameron Dallas: can I call
Me: yes

*On The Phone With Cameron*
I quickly put it on speaker so Jack can hear.
Cam: hey
Me: hi
Cam: your probably wondering why I want to talk
Me: yea I guess.
Cam: well I don't like how we ended things
Me: Cameron, the relationship wasn't working.
Cam: I know, and I regret that happening
Me: It happened for a reason.
Cam: I love you
Me: I'm with Jack and I'm happier than ever
Cam: do you remember how happy you were happy with me
Me: not really, because you ignored me for like a month and then broke up with me.
Cam: oh well you made me happy
Me: okay. I don't understand the point of the call then
Cam: I just wanted to tell you I love you
Me: I'm with Jack.
Cam: I know, but I still love you.
Jack hangs up and I'm fucking furious. He knows I'm with Jack and I'm happier than ever. I wish I never dated him. I decided to take a nap to calm me down. Jack took it with me, which calmed me down more. I just shut out my thoughts and enjoyed the comfort of Jack's snuggles. I whisper "I love you" in his ear and dozed off quickly.
*Jack's POV*
Today was fun. Squad went costume shopping, ate lunch together and hung out. The only bad thing that happened was Cameron calling to tell Cassie that he still loves her. That pissed me off. At 4:00, Cassie's mom, Emily and Cassie's dad came home. I helped her dad unload the groceries and help her mom make dinner. While we were cooking, her dad was making conversation with me. He started to get to know me and I did the same. He's a pretty cool guy, just not when he's pissed. For dinner Lacey was making Chinese food. Yummy. About 20 minutes later, Cassie woke up and was happy to see her dad. I love how he's making a effort to get back into her life. She then comes over to me and gives me a kiss and slaps me on my ass. She quickly runs outside and it's raining. All she is wearing is a sportsbra and spandex, whatever, I decide to run out there with her. I slowly grabbed her waist and pull into a hug and gave her a huge kiss. I hear a click and see that her mom Lacey took a picture. She sent it to both of us in a group chat. I freaking love her family. Speaking of family, I haven't seen mine in a while, because my parents are always gone. The last time I saw them was when my dad was in the hospital. Cassie and I go back inside and eat dinner with everyone while watching Scream. After that, we continued to have a scary movie marathon, after all 4 Scream Movies were over, Cassie passed out. I took her up to bed and quickly fell asleep next to her quietly.
