Unexpected Love

Chapter 35

*Cassie's POV*
After Sammy kissed me, I went in my bathroom to take a shower. I washed my hair and shaved my legs. When I walked out of my room, Sammy was gone. Huh. I walk into my walk in closet to find what I wunna wear. I grab my blue skinny jeans with a yellow crop top and black vans. I go back into my bathroom to do my makeup.

I put on foundation, a thin line of eyeliner, mascara, and some light eye shadow. I walk downstairs and see that the lights are off and no-one appears to be home.

"SURPRISE." I nearly jump because everyone scared me. I see that my family and EVERYONE else is here. Maggie, Madison, Andrea, Jen, Lia, Ella, Kenny, Shawn, Nate, Sammy, Nash, Hayes, Carter, Matt, Kian, Jc, Trevor, Ricky, Sam, Grayson, Ethan, Johnson, Twaimz, Taylor, Aaron, Jack and Cameron. Why are my ex's here? I ignore the fact and just walk up to Maggie and Carter.

"Happy Birthday Cass. Love you buttface."

"Thank you Mags. Love you too shithead."

I walk over to Shawn and Ella who are talking to my mom. I smile at the fact that everyone loves my mom.

"Happy Birthday Watermelon. I love you best friend."

"When did my name become Watermelon? And I love you to Ella Jella Bean."

Shawn gives me a hug and wishes me happy birthday.

"Mom, not to be rude, but why are Jack AND Cameron here?"

"I don't know, I mean, its not like they are bugging you."

"True. I'm sorry mom."

"It's okay sweetie. Go have fun."

While I'm walking over to Andrea and Lia, I feel a pair of arms lift my legs up and put me on their shoulders. Why does everyone do this? I turn my head and see that it's Sammy. Oh my god, this kid. He takes me up to my room with everyone staring at us. I can sense the looks from Jack and Cameron.

"GET SOME." Carter yells. I flip him off and everyone starts laughing except Jack. I'm surprised Cameron found it funny. Sammy opens up my bedroom door and sets me on my bed.

"I wanted to give you your gift in private."

Woah. What does this mean? I feel his lips quickly kiss me and hand me my gift.

"Sammy, you didn't have to get me a gift."

"Yes I did. Now open it beautiful."

I open the gift and see that it's a picture frame with all of the photos Sammy and I had. I look into the bag and see there is more. The second gift was a Mickey Mouse phone case.

"There is more to the gift. I'll be right back."

I hope this kid didn't go all crazy.

"Close your eyes."

"I swear to god, if it's one of your body parts, I'm going to flip the hell out."

"Maybe, maybe not. Now put your hands out."

"Now open."

I open my eyes and see that there is a puppy. OMG HE DID NOT BUY ME A PUPPY. AND IT WAS A PUG. OMG HE HIT MY SOFT SPOT.

"OMG SAMUEL WILKSON I LOVE YOU SO MUCH."

"I love you too Cassie. Happy Birthday cutie."

"What should I name it?"

"Hmm, what about Titus since it's a boy?"

"That's a good idea. Now let's go back downstairs."

We walk downstairs with Titus in my hand.

"So what happened with you two?" Matt asks with a smirk face.

"Well Matt, Sammy gave me my present. He got me a picture frame, a phone case and a puppy."

"Aw that's so cute. Lemme take a picture of you two."

I hand Matt my phone so he could take one. I have Titus in my hand while Sammy is kissing my cheek.

"Everyone get in the picture." My mom yells. I hand Emily Titus. I jump on Sammy's back while everyone is just standing/sitting on the staircase. Maggie is kissing one cheek while Madison is kissing the other in a best friend way. Ella is in Shawn's arms while everyone else is doing whatever.

After my mom took the picture, she handed me back my phone. She brought out this amazing Disney character designed cake. Omg I love my mom. Sammy and Nate do the honors of placing all 18 candles around the cake and lighting them too.

Sammy comes up to me and whispers "Make a wish." I slowly blow out the candles so my mom can get a picture. I wish for these people who are here with me right now, to be by my side through thick and thin.

After a while, everyone eats desert and goes home, including Sammy. I made a collage of the pictures my mom took today and posted it on Instagram.

I go on Twitter and see that my feed is full of birthday Tweets. I thank everyone who wished me happy birthday and fall asleep. Today was amazing.
