*Cassie's POV*
Since Halloween is in 1 day, I still have to find a DJ. I woke up at 8:30 made some breakfast, not caring if Jack wakes up since he fell asleep on the couch last night. After I finish eating, I walk upstairs, do my hair, get dressed and brush my teeth. I decided to text Ella to see if she's busy. Her and I haven't spent time without the boys lately. I need a girls day.
Me: hey girl are you busy today?
Ella❤: no why bb?
Me: well I was wondering if you wanted to have a girls day and help me with the Halloween party?
Ella❤: of course I would. Give me 20 minutes and I'll be over at your house.
Me: okay see you soon bb❤
I call my mom to check up on her and tell her about Magcon.
*phone is ringing*
Mom: "hey sweetie"
Me: "hey mom, how are you?"
Mom: "I'm good. Just homesick how are you?"
Me: "I'm doing good. I have some news."
Mom: "What is it sweetie?"
Me: "So you know how the guys and I post stuff on YouTube/Vine? Well a guy named Bart Boredlon who runs that thing called Magcon offered us to be apart of it."
Mom: "OMG sweetie, that's amazing. If your asking for my permisson, you got it."
Me: "Really? OMG thank you Mom!"
Mom: "your welcome, I love you."
Me: "I love you too."
I then hang up and go downstairs and see that Jack is still asleep. I get a text from Ella saying she is here. Before I walk out the door, I kiss Jack on the lips and tell him where I'm going. In a sexy raspy morning voice, he says "Okay, babe, be safe, I love you."
I whisper I love you too and walk out the door. I run up to Ella and give her a big ass hug. "What car do you want to take?"
"I don't care."
"Wunna take my car?"
"Sure."
We hop into my car and head to the mall.
"So Cass, how are you?"
"I'm good, how about you Jellybean?"
Yes. Jellybean is her nickname. She throws back her head and starts laughing.
"I'm good. My mom said I could do Magcon with you guys."
"My mom said I could go too."
I decided to ask her about Shawn.
"So how are you and Shawn?"
"Were good. He still hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend tho."
"Don't worry bb, he will. I know he will."
"How are you and Jack?"
"Were good. I just feel like that were that couple that only hangs out with each more than our friends."
"Well every couple does that, but you guys do keep yourselfs hidden."
"Yeah, I feel the same way. I just don't want to be like that. I don't wunna be that girl that hang out with their boyfriend instead of friends."
"I understand how you feel."
We pull into the mall parking lot and walk inside.
*Jack's POV*
Since Cassie left to go hangout with Ella, I call up Johnson and see if he wants to hangout.
(On the phone)
JJ: hey bro what's up?
Me: hey brotha wunna hangout?
JJ: of course dude. Where you wunna meet?
Me: the park we always used to shoot hoops at?
JJ: yea. Be there in 10.
Me: okay. Should we invite the guys?
JJ: yeah. I'll text them.
I get ready and head down to the park. On my to the park, I see Cameron. Ew. He walks over to me. Tf.
"Hey Jack. Are you doing Magcon?"
"Yeah, Are you?"
"Fuck yeah brotha. This is a once in a lifetime offer."
I fake laugh and give him a high-five and walk away. I finally arrive at the park and see all the guys. It feels good to hangout with them with no gals. I love them, but we all just needed a guys day.
*Cassie's POV*
After 2 hours of shopping, we go to the food court and eat. We go to Panera Bread. I love this restaurant.
After we eat, we go look for a DJ for the party tomorrow. An hour later we find one who will take 40 dollars a hour and make the deal.
"Thank you ladies. I'll be glad to DJ at your party. My name is Mahogany LOX. You guys look familiar."
"You look familiar."
"Well I did Dj at Taylor Caniff's 17th birthday party. And I know your dating Jack Gilinsky and I know you and Shawn have somewhat of a thing."
"Yup that's us. Are you gunna be apart of Magcon?"
"Heck yeah girl. Here's my number. Send me the song list you'd like to have."
"Okay thank you."
We go back home and find 9 sweaty guys in my house watching Netflix. I run up to Jack and kiss the hell out of him and tell him we have a DJ for tomorrow. He shakes his head in excitement and has me lay on his lap to watch Netflix. While watching the TV, we heard a big thump from outside. I walk up to the front door and see something I don't want to see.
