Unexpected Love

Chapter 2

*Cassie's POV*
After Cameron said yes to go to Starbucks, I could hear my mom and Michael fighting. For some reason they have been fighting lately and i dont know why. I mean its none of my business, but I would like to know.
" FUCK YOU LACEY, WHY COULD YOU DO THAT?"
" SHUT THE FUCK UP MICHAEL, I DID NOTHING! YOUR THE ONE WHO CHEATED ON ME WITH YOUR DISGUSTING EX!"
" SO EVERYTHING IS MY FAULT NOW?! WHAT ABOUT CASSIE? SHE WALKS AROUND LIKE SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU!"
" MAYBE BECAUSE SHE DOES YOU ASSHOLE! AND SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!"
By then I was in tears crying my eyes out in my room. I heard the doorbell ring and I ran downstairs to answer it. I opened the door to see Cameron. I was still balling my eyes out.  "Cassie, sunshine what's wrong?" I barley could even talk. "Is it Michael?" All I could do was shake my head yes. "Cassie, we need to get you out of here." By then him and I were in the car. The ride was silent. Yeah I know it seems stupid to cry over this, but Michael has been the only father figure in my life.
*Lacey's POV*
" MAYBE SHE DOES YOU ASSHOLE! AND SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!" Those were my last words to Michael, my husband. I then walked down stairs to see Cameron and Cassie leaving to go to school. I couldn't even think how Cassie's feeling right now. If my step-dad said that about me, I'd be really upset. I have no idea what Michaels problem is. I then grabbed Emily and my car keys and took a drive to Starbucks. I then turned on the radio and me and Micheals wedding song started playing. All I could do was cry. I finally wiped away my tears and pulled out of the drive way.
•10 minutes later•
I finally arrived at starbucks with Emily and when I walked in I saw Cassie and Cameron. I walked over to the cash register and got an iced coffee and then walked over to where Cam and Cassie were.
