Unexpected Love

Chapter 17

*Ella's POV*

Today is the day Shawn was taking me out on a date. I don't know were we are going, but it should be fun no matter what. I woke up around 10:30 to my mom's boyfriend's smell of his famous waffle egg sandwhiches. They bomb af. When I walked out of my room, my mom said she had something to tell me. "Ella, can you come here please." "Yea, mom, I'm coming." My mom took me into her room because she didn't want Vance to hear I guess. "Ella, I have some news for you. Vance knows so it's okay. Apparently he does know lol. "Sweetie, I'm pregnant." I nearly faint on the inside because I've liked be the only child, but look at Cassie. She doesn't have a problem with Emily a lot, so I think having a little sibiling can't be that bad. "Aw, congratulations mom." She gave me and hug and then let me go eat. After I was done eating, I went to go get ready. While I started curling my hair, I got a text from Shawn.

Shawn:) - hey, I'll be leaving my house in 30 minutes, so I should be at your house in a hour.

Me- okay sounds good :)

I started putting on my makeup. I put on foundation, a winged eyeliner and mascara. By the time I was done with that, I had 20 minutes left. I went into my closet and started looking for something to wear. I found my pink floral hollister crop top and some ripped skinny jeans. When I finished getting dressed, I put on my maroon vans and waited for Shawn to get here. 5 minutes later Shawn texted me he was here. I said goodbye to my mom and Vance. I walked out the front door and was escorted by Shawn to the passenger door. He's such a gentlemen. When he got in the car, I asked him where we were going.

"Shawn, where are we going?"

"It's a surprise cutie."

I do and don't like surprises. It took us about 30 minutes to get where we were going to. I almost fell asleep, but didn't lol. When Shawn pulled into the parking lot, I started freaking out because he took me to one of my favorite places here in San Diego. "The Boardwalk Misson Beach". Before my mom and dad spilt, they took Cassie and I here almost every weekend. Shawn opened up the car door for me. I saw a familar car in the parking lot, but just ignored it. Shawn took my hand and walked us over to the Boardwalk amusment park.

*Jack's POV*
Sunday's are usually lazy days for Cassie and I, but I decided to surprise her. I thought about what I would do. After a while, I decided to take her to "The Boardwalk Mission Beach." I told Cassie to get ready. We got ready together. She put on some concealer, mascara and eyeshadow. I love how she doesn't wear a lot of makeup. She looks amazing with or without it. When we were done getting ready, we went to the car and left. After about 40 minutes,we arrived at the Boardwalk. I opened Cassie's car door and grabbed her hand.

*Cassie's POV*
Instead of having a lazy Sunday, Jack took me to "The Boardwalk, Mission Beach." I love this place. We walked to the admission stand and went on all the rides. After we got off the rollercoaster, I saw Shawn and Ella. I didn't know they were coming today. Oh well. About a minute later, I saw Shawn push Ella against the wall and he starts making out with her. Holy shit. I start freaking out but Jack calms me down and takes me to another ride.

*Ella's POV*
After Shawn and I got off the "Beach Blaster", he grabbed my hand and all of a sudden, he pushed me up against the wall and started making out with me. It felt good, but so awkward at the same time. I was shocked. I mean I really like Shawn, its just I didn't want to rush things. After a minute or two, he removed his soft lips from mine and took me on the "Beach Blaster" again. While we were waiting in line, I saw Jack and Cassie. I didn't expect them to go out today, they usually sleep half the day on Sunday's and then just chill and watch Netflix until they go to bed for school. Good thing we don't have school tomorrow because of Labor Day. When we got on the ride, I sat by Cassie and Jack. Cassie saw me and gave me a hug. I was so happy to see her, even though I was having an amazing time with Shawn. The ride lasted a good amount of 5 minutes. It was really fun. I checked my phone for the time and it was "5:45pm." The park closes at 6:30 so we have to leave soon.
