Unexpected Love

Chapter 28

*Cassie's POV*
Jack and I woke up the next morning at 7:30 and call the guys to help us hang up the decorations for the party tonight. I texted Mahogany the song list I would like to have. She said she had all of those songs so everything was settled. By 8:30 Ella and all of the guys showed up. I look down at my phone and see I have a text from my mom.
Mommy❤: hey sweetie. are you okay?! I'm so sorry about last night. I shouldn't have left. They are letting me come home early and let me work from home. I know your party is tonight so, Victoria and I will take Robert and Emily trick-or-treating. I will be coming home tomorrow. I love you. Be safe.
Me: okay, I love you too mom. I'll see you tomorrow.
I then continue to put up the decorations and everything else. Johnson and Jack were putting up some tables/chairs, the grill in the back yard, and other things. Taylor, Shawn, Aaron and Matt were decorating the haunted house in the garage. Carter, Ella and I were just cleaning up the house. Shawn suggested that we order pizza for tonight.
"That's a good idea Shawn, my mom left me money for the party. How many boxes should we order? 12?"
"Yeah, that's a good amount."
I look at the clock and it says "12:30 PM." Holy shit, it's been 4 hours. While everyone was still cleaning or decorating, Johnson started making some lunch for us. Johnson then yells "Guys, lunch is ready." We all walk over to the kitchen and make ourselves some plates. Johnson made his grandmas homemade "Carne Asada." Dam. It's really good. After we finished eating, it was 2:30. The party started at 6 and we had an hour to finish decorating. The haunted house is the thing that is taking forver. We all pitched in to help finish it. Since Carter is tech smart, he had all of the dolls/ fake power tools control themselves when people walk through it. By the time the house was finished, it was 3:45. Everyone went to their cars to get their costumes and everything they needed. Ella and I got ready in my bathroom, Jack, Taylor, Johnson and Carter got ready in my moms bathroom, Shawn, Nash, Hayes and Matt got ready in the downstairs bathroom. For my makeup, I put on foundation, light blue eye shadow, pink blush, a thin line of eyeliner, and a light red lipstick. I started braiding my hair.
"Ella should I do two side braids or just one?"
"I think two would match better with the outfit."
I took Ella's advice and did two braids. When I was done with my hair, I went into my room to put on the coustume. I put on a sleeve cut shirt with yellow around the top of it and my blue jean shorts with my 2 inch cowgirl boots. For Ella's makeup to match her vine costume, she curled her hair, put on some foundation, light green with a mix of dark green eye shadow, a thin line of eyeliner, and some blush with lipgloss. She had me write her vine account name on her cheek with eyeliner. Very slowly and neatly I wrote "EllaXAnderson." The shirt she bought had the Vine symbol on it and to match it, she bought a sparkly green tu-tu. She looked so amazing. I look at the time and see its 5:15. Holy fuck. It took us two hours to get ready. We walk downstairs and see everyone ready except Johnson and Jack. Shawn was wearing a blue shirt with the twitter logo on it with some dark blue skinny jeans. Aaron looked like a white Tupac. Carter looked like himself. Nash and Hayes had to be the cutest out of all the matching costumes. Hayes was Mike and Nash was Sully. Hayes had a eye painted on his forehead wearing a plain green onesie saying "I'm Mike Wazoski." Nash had on a onesie also looking like Sully of course. Johnson and Jack then walked out of the bathroom. Johnson was wearing a Bullzeye snuggie. Jack looked sexy as fuck in that Woody cowboy outfit. He had on dark blue skinny jeans with his cowboy boots while the shirt was yellow with a white vest. Matt decided not to match with Kian anymore so he just didn't dress up like Taylor. At 5:45 everyone starting showing up. I hope this party is good.
